Beautiful young maiden Sook-ja prepared a tub full of wild hibiscus petals for her to bathe on. How relaxing it is even more when she knew she picked these flowers out herself on the feared wilds of the Jirisan mountain.

She dips one foot first on the brewing hot tub then carefully gets every part of her body on and lie down, leaving only her head up the surface.

When she'd be calm and clean enough, she takes out her robe and drape it onto her delicate, porcelain-like skin.

She went on to get dressed with her long, silky peach chima skirt that goes up from her chest all the way down to the feet, then picks out an ivory-colored jeogori that has beautiful light pink ribbon on it. She set out her collection of carefully arranged binyeo headpieces, comparing the one to the other. She lets out a frustrated sigh as nothing even matches to her dazzling face that glows brighter than the lovely peeking sun outside.

Finally, she settles for the green one with a jade butterfly on it, embellished with tiny crystals on each of its wings.

She pats a dose of freshly-squeezed pomegranate, enough for a natural-looking blush on her cheeks. As she feels contented with her appearance, she bolts out of her quarters and stepped on her mituri shoes. She almost forgot to take her parasol with her so she storms back in and off to the festive marketplace she went...

As she walks gracefully, she runs a hand down her skirt to smooth it out and twirls the pendant dangling from her neck as she struts, coming closer to the wandering people in the stalls.

"What a lovely, lovely spring day!" She exclaimed, as she flung opens her parasol and her foot lightly touches the cherry blossom-carpeted pathway. With every step, the distinct aroma of spring Sook-ja always loved takes over and there's just no stopping the surge of emotions- It's officially spring again.

She happily roamed around and feasted her eyes on the romantic colors of spring. The joyful faces of the people she's coming across with makes her heart flutter with joy as well.

What Sook-ja wasn't much aware of is that people's heart burns with awe as they stare at her bright smile and admire her face which was carved by the Gods themselves. They can only watch from afar and smile by themselves. How fair can this young maiden be!

"Thief! A thief! Stop right there!" a fruit stall vendor cried out of nowhere, startling everyone out. Sook-ja, awakened from her little spring daydreaming, foresees something odd...

A guy in his late teens ran out of nowhere, making the shoppers step aside to make way for him as he rushed. To make way for the thief to get away! Nobody even thought of blocking him out. This thief even managed to pop a piece of white grape onto his mouth while bolting away from the bustling crowd and at the same time, bursting out of laughter.

Mischief.

Of course dainty but valiant Sook-ja can't just stand and watch like the others, can she? She ran just as fast as the thief did, maybe even twice his speed and chased after him, leaving her parasol behind. Everyone's mouth swings open at the young lady's unearthly ability.

As soon as she think she's close enough, Sook-ja pulled the fruit thief's coat and shortly, grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled it back as well, finally making him stop on his tracks. He arched his body and shrieks out in pain.

"Take back what you stole, you impudent low life!" She whispered under her breath calmly, but with full authority.

Just who does this girl think she is?

"You are crazy! I won't! Let me-- uh-- go!" He breathes out as he struggles to get away from this strange girl's steel-like fist. And out of all his body parts, why must she go for his hair?!

But she only pulled his head down with more force and glares at the back of his head intently and murderously as only this part of him is what she can see at the moment.

"Fine, fine! I will return it! Will... re...turn..." as Sook-ja hears this, she gradually let the thief out of her grip.

Much to his annoyance, he hurriedly took both her wrists on his fists- much stronger than hers, and pinned them down to the dusty ground. At last! He can finally be able to face this monstrous girl and make her pay the price of actually trying to mess with him!

But heavens, not only did he saw the most scenic, painstakingly beautiful face in his whole life but he was taken aback by how time suddenly stood still as well.

As he stared down at her almond pair of eyes, his before much-stronger-than-steel grasp softens, unknowingly letting her get away just as quick.

The now untrapped Sook-ja would normally stand back up and cover this attacker's face fully in dust as she now have all the chance, but she was equally astounded by the fact that, she know she have never come this near with a wolf ever in her life.
