Mind If I Slytherin? (Draco x Reader)

"Actually, I broke it up."

"As you all know, the yule ball is tomorrow. Some of you have already purchased their yule ball outfit but for those who haven't, there are many small clothing stores in Hogsmeade." McGonagall said.

Students were in a field trip to Hogsmeade. Some of them went to relax and drink butterbeers since they've already bought their outfits in muggle stores, the rest went to buy their yule ball outfits. 

"Gladrags Wizardwear" mentioned Hermione while pointing at a pretty and small store. 

"I've heard about it. It's a clothing store right?" I asked. The store had a wide window with a beautiful pink dress inside.

"Yes it is" said Hermione answering my question. "Remember when we were talking about dresses?..."

"Yes" I interrupted.

"...Well, I really love this dress. It is perfect. I'm going to go inside the store. Are you coming?" said Hermione

"Yes of course. I might find my dress too." I said as we walked inside. While Hermione tried on the dress, I saw an incredibly beautiful dress. It was the one I saw the last time I visited Hogsmeade. The dress was emerald green and it went down to my ankles. It was strapless with a small v-shaped neckline. As I walked towards the dress, I saw Draco entering the store. 

"Hello Y/N" he said

"Morning Draco" I greeted back. Our eyes locked. His silver ones melted into my E/C ones. We stayed quiet for a few seconds. 

"I heard you and Cedric aren't going together to the ball. His loss." said Draco breaking the tension.

"Actually, I broke it up." I replied blushing a little.

"Oh, ok. I just wanted to let you know that Pansy asked me to the ball, I said yes." While Draco said this, the blush on my cheeks disappeared. I felt a painful pinch in my heart. I actually thought the kiss meant something.

"Ok, good to know." I said trying to hold on my pain. I grabbed the dress and locked myself into the dressing room. 

I decided to try on my dress and forget about Draco. The kiss was probably a dare. He didn't actually meant to kiss me. 

I went out of my dressing room with the dress on. I felt really pretty. I saw Hermione come out of her dressing room with her dress on. Her dress was a short-sleeve pink dress with many layers. 

"You look amazing!" I complimented her

"Me?! You look absolutely stunning!" she said. We smiled and looked into the big mirror in the store. 

Blaise Zabini walked in. He was one of Malfoy's friends. 

"I like your dress Y/N" he said emotionlessly

"Thank you Zabini" I replied. I knew he was trying to be nice, he doesn't usually compliment people.

"You can call me Blaise" 

"Ok Blaise" I said. It was an awkward conversation. I have talked to him once in my life and that was because he was Malfoy's friend. 

"I was wondering, Y/N, if you would like to attend the yule ball with me." I was very surprised. I didn't expect that.

"Yes, of course" I smiled

"Great Y/N. I'll see you tomorrow." he smiled back and left the store. Hermione and I changed back into our normal clothes, bought the dresses and met the rest of the students near the Hogsmeade station.
