I was so excited to go home after finishing my task at the student council's office.I was so exhausted with all the work, being the vice president is no joke because I was the one appointed by the president to follow up all the reports in each ministry and to make sure that everything is polished before the target date and time.The pressure given by the teachers didn't brought us any help.Kung maka demand sila akala mo pinapa sweldohan kami.I just heaved a sigh.

On my way home, I felt like something strange was about to happen. Maybe because for the past weeks, my parents are always quarreling which is very odd since they are always sweet and understanding towards each other and so I walked faster.

My heart is pounding hard when I finally arrived, I grabbed the door only to welcome by a very silent living room. "Mom?"

I decided to go to the kitchen but no one was there so I went to the pool area, comfort room,the second floor, balcony and to their room but my mom was nowhere to be seen. And I noticed that the room was a bit messy and there were lots of crumpled papers but looks like a photo on top of the bed. Linapitan ko ito at pinagmasdan ang unang litrato. It was a picture of a beautiful woman holding her baby bump and she looks familiar. It's like I've seen her before but she is on side view so I can't really recognize her. Then I picked the other one and got shocked by the sight of seeing my father kissing another woman who's not my mom! I'm not stupid to not know what's happening in this picture. Kaya pala palagi siyang wala at kung nandito man siya, palagi lang silang nag aaway ni mom.

I felt betrayed and hurt but at the same time even though my father never really treated me well, I still love him because he's my father, the man my precious mom loves the most. He didn't consider my mom and the promised they made in front of God and to the people they love before cheating with another woman. I'm in pain thinking that he spent most of his time and attention to that bitch rather than my mom who is always taking care of us and dedicating her whole heart to support us which other families can't experience. She needs someone to be with her. With my trembling hands, I grabbed the doorknob and pushed it.

"Mommmm!"

Humahangos akong napabalikwas mula sa aking pagkakatulog dahil sa isang napakasamang panaginip na multo ng nakaraan. Up to this day it still hunts me. The sight of my mother hanging from the ceiling with eyes wide open directly darted at me and floor filled with red liquid that flowed from her body. It's been a year already since that horrifying and most heartbreaking part of my life happened.The day when I lost my loving mother who always puts smile on my face and makes my heart happy in an instant with just her mere presence, the one that pays attention to every word and action I made just to help me go through everything that's bothering me and one of the reasons to keep my life going.The day that he took her, I wish it was me instead because from that day on, I lost myself. I felt lifeless and I became numb to everything.

I can't imagine that I still have the strength and courage to continue fighting but she once told me, "don't give up honey, you can do it day by day and if you're running out of reason, always find one," that's the words that is imprinted within me and I'll make sure that I will not let anything drag me down cause she thought me to be the person I am today, tomorrow and 'till the day I die.
