After the closing remark of Mr.Mijares, I and my friends had a short picture taking and since we are with our families they decided to join along, and we can't do anything about that. Palagi naman silang nakiki alam... we're used to it already.

" Congratulations to all of you, you all made it to the top" bati ni Dad sa mga kaibigan ko. As I've said before, our parents are quite close with one another including us, that's why it's normal to talk casually. Nagpasalamat naman ang mga kaibigan ko, "You must be so proud of your daughter Kalixto, she's the top of their batch while being the president of the council," puri ni tito Miguel, "Ofcourse kumpare, I always know she doesn't disappoint us” sagot ng tatay ni Adi. Nakita ko ang lungkot sa mata ni Adi kahit nakangiti ang mga labi niya, kaya hinawakan ko nalang ang balikat niya.

Nilapitan ako ni Tita Felicity, ang mama ni Lan, “Congratulations iha," bati niya, “Thanks tita," pasalamat ko sa kanya at nakipag beso, “So are you with Landon in taking humanities strand? he mentioned it to me before," tanong niya. Hindi talaga maipagkakaila na mama's boy yung lalaking ‘yon kahit kasi noong mga bata pa kami mahilig na siya magsumbong kay tita sa mga bagay bagay na nakikita o napapansin niya. Sasagutin ko na sana siya nang sumabat si Dad,  “Yeah she would be," sagot ni Dad, “That’s good to know, you two are so much alike," pahayag ni tita nang nakangiti.And ever since we were kids, Tita Felicity and mom always hope that Landon and I will be together in the future but we just always laughed at it. Hindi naman kase mangyayare yun kahit na sabay na kami lumaki at alam na ang mga bagay bagay tungkol sa isa't-isa, kahit kailan hindi sumagi sa isip namin na mas hihigit pa sa pagkakaibigan ang relasyon na meron kami. “I hope she is also as sociable as Landon," sabi ni Dad sabay tingin saakin,nginitian ko nalang si tita.  I don't know but everytime I have my father around, I feel like everything I do is calculated, that I should be the daughter that he can proudly introduce to his colleagues and it sucks to be in this damn situation.

After our parents had their mini reunion, we bid our goodbyes before we all parted ways. Dad's wife was quiet the entire time. Sino ba naman kase ang makikipag-usap sa kaibigan na trinaydor ang kapwa niyo kaibigan para sa isang lalake. Tita Felicity only talked to her about the clothing apparel she have in their malls. Other than that, there's nothing more to talk about.

El Palacio de mi Rey

This restaurant is exclusive owned by the City’s Governor Ms. Esquevel. Actually once ko lang siya nakita at yun ay noong nahalal siya bilang gobernadora. She's really brilliant and known for her courageous crusade against crime and injustice, she's also a well known lawyer together with my father before she became a politician. The restaurant's name is still a mystery for me and to the people around the city 'cause Ms. Esquevel is not married yet, in Spanish term it means 'The palace of my king'. Pagkapasok namin ay sinalubong kami ng isa sa mga escort at hinatid sa table namin. Yaell was left at home with his nanny for the reason that dad doesn't want him exposed in crowded places, He’s kind of protective towards my little brother.

Tahimik lang kami habang kumakain, tanging yung tunog na nanggagaling sa orchestra ang maririnig. Nabasag lang ang katahimikan nung dumating yung waitress para ihain ang desserts, " Elleonor, are you going to stay in Coast Grove for your Senior High?" tanong ni dad, “Yes dad, sa collage nalang ako lilipat para less hassle at maganda naman ang education system nila sa university kaya doon nalang din kami ni Landon," paliwanag ko, “Okay it's up to you ,just make sure you'll do your best this time, you don't want to be the shadow of Adeline forever right?" pangaral niya. Here we go again, kailan kaya niya mare-realize na siya lang ang may pakialam sa bagay na yan ni kami nga ni Adi wala e. Dad always says that my relationship with Adeline affects my academic and school performance that I just let Adi be the top 1 cause she's my friend when infact, Adi's really intelligent and more focused than I am.
