Harry stared at the desk in front of him. It became a normal thing for Harry to stare at Malfoy(well he ought to refere to him as Draco) in any class they shared. Harry just couldn't understand why Draco was all of a sudden changing his ways.

Maybe he thought Harry would blackmail him for all the stuff he read in his journal. He should know Harry wouldn't do something like that. Even to Malfoy(he had to get used to not calling him Malfoy).

Ron used to glare at Harry for even glancing at the blonde but since he and Draco had smoothed things over Ron seemed to just ignore it. Severus Snape had switched back to potions as Slughorn had retired and headed somewhere in the east of California.

Draco had sat next to Neville as they seemed to be friends now. It was great that Draco was changing and being nice. Harry just couldn't get why. Snape glared at Harry in a menacing way. "Mind sharing with the class what's so important that you couldn't be bothered to pay attention in my class Mr. Potter?"

Harry blinked a bit. "Oh it was nothing. Sorry professor . Did you have a question?"

Snape seemed unreasonably amused by Harry's reply. "It's nothing is it? I'm afraid I disagree with that. See, if it were nothing you wouldn't have been so engulfed in it. So Mr. Potter, what is it?"

"I was just a little lost in thought is all."

Snape sneered at him but left it at that. He instead turned to Draco Malfoy. "Can you Draco tell me what this imbecile can't seem to? What is the result to mixing love potion with salt?"

Draco sighed a bit. "I'm afraid I don't know. The question was pretty difficult. You outta cut Harry some slack. I do however notice that Hermione Granger, or may I say the smartest one in this class has had her hand up since you asked the question. Maybe you should chose students for result instead of humiliation? Anyways Hermione?"

Harry couldn't believe what he had heard. Not only had Draco reprimanded Snape he also defended Harry and Hermione as well as calling her smart. Snape sighed. "Granger?" Hermione smiled. "It does absolutely nothing to the work function of the potion. It instead gives whatever you smell a salty edge. Nothing minor."

Snape reluctantly nodded. "It seems the insufferable brat has answered the question. We will now be getting into groups of your choice. Draco, Pansy, and Blaise can come get your supplies."

"Professor? Actually Neville Longbottom is in our group."

Pansy nodded. "I was secptical but after that library study session we need a smart one." She said. Snape just sighed. "Okay then. It's due in three days. Get out of my classroom."

The class got up and left. Draco, Pansy, Blaise, and Neville walked up to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Neville smiled. "Pansy wanted me to ask if you wanted to study with us in the library? We work now until lunch. You want to come?"

Pansy Parkinson nodded. "Yeah you should come it's lit. Draco brings candy and stuff. You won't regret it I promise." Draco laughed. "Since when have I brought candy." He said. Pansy rolled her eyes. "Since today. I got a craving please."

Draco rolled his eyes. "Honestly Pans you're lucky you're my best friend. You want some Blaise? Neville?"

Neville nodded. "Chocolate. Please."

Draco chuckled. "You guys should come. It's enjoyable." He said. Blaise rolled his eyes. "Enjoyable? What is this a tea party. Just say awesome. But yeah you should come."

The trio all nodded. Pansy smirked. "You know Dray you were right about changing and stuff. There our some really awesome people I wouldn't be friends with if I didn't make this very necessary change. Thanks."
