Believe me or not

---

"What's wrong, son? You don't like your meal?" his mom asked him and other servants had to look at each other, seeing the prince with a whole different look was confusing to them, but they should not spread the news that fast to the village and other officers of the royal council.

"No, it's just that..." Minho took some chopsticks and looked at the different types of food that was served.

"What is it?" His father asked.

"Can I have a bowl? Some pepper, oyster sauce, and some spring onions please?" He looked at some of the male servants which they immediately nodded and went on their way, Minho was beyond excited to share something to everyone.

Another man entered and with servants along with him, Minho paused as he stared at the person who entered, a smile growing on his face.

"Sangyeon..." he smiled and welcomed the boy like a royal prince that Minho is.

"Goodness, Rino. What happened to you? And didn't I tell you not to call me in my other name?" Sangyeon glared at him but also took a seat across Minho.

"It's a pleasure to see you here again, Jayden." His mother, the queen, smiled at Minho's cousin.

"Thank you, Aunt Mina. I received a news privately that you needed help, especially with Rino over here." Jayden smiled while Minho took a mental note to remember Jayden was his name here and not Sangyeon.

He sighed mentally now remembering, he was the Rino that the letter was referring too, so that only means one thing.

This is a fucking BL historical story. I mean um... it's a boy and boy romance. Do the historians know Rino was a male who was in love with Chief Bang??

His thoughts were interrupted when the servants came along with some spices and a medium sized bowl. He immediately smiled and clapped his hands happily, rolling up his sleeves and preparing his hands.

"What are you gonna do, cousin?" Jayden asked when the things were placed next to Minho.

Minho just smiled and begins pouring some meat and some vegetables to a bowl, he added some spices too, specially some chili peppers he chopped and turned into tiny pieces. Everyone observed of what he was doing and were amazed of how the prince was able to put them effortlessly. Minho also placed some hot water and a bit more spices, mixing it up and tasting some soup. He covers it with a lid and does a small shake from the outside and placing the bowl down. He opens the lid revealing a very appealing meal, even Jayden was in awe by his cousin's creation. Minho adds the small mochi rice cake on top of the dish and smiles proudly.

All of them clapped by the prince's creation receiving nods and praises from the servants and some royal guards, Jayden clapped as well.

Minho took the first taste and smiled even more along with a long satisfied hum.

"Wow, I didn't know his majesty could make such specialty." Jayden exclaimed while examining the bowl of food.

"Pshh, it's just kimchi with udon and a bit kimchi in it." Minho offered his food to his servants who had their faces shocked after the prince gave them the special dish instead of eating it.

"Seriously though, what happened to you?" Jayden observed him once again, curious about the sudden change of his majesty, the prince.

"You will know later. As for now, let us all eat, shall we?" he smiled at everyone and starts eating some leftovers he used from the dish he made.
