There is always a difference between past and present
---
Chan was a mess all this time, he was overworking himself, skipping meals and ignoring his friend's attention. Somehow the pain that is still inside him was stronger than he thought. It was ruining him to the point, he just wants to see Minho again, even if he would cry. Even if he would shout at him for lying and hiding things from him.
But the reality that Minho was no more near him...
It's so much more than death...
"Chan, it has been 5 days since his disappearance. I wonder why you are not happy atleast..." Jisung asked him, seeing dark circles underneath the other's eyes. That sight kills Jisung, seeing his friend in that state of a mess.
The said male remained silent as his attention was still outside the window. He was silent, unresponsive and as if waiting for someone so dear to him.
"Yah, let him. It was his fault why our hyung is like this." Changbin calmed Jisung down who didn't even move from his position.
"I cannot just let our hyung be like this! He has been overworking himself and does not eat well. How am I suppose to calm down?!" Jisung glared at the other one who flinched and sighed heavily.
“Hyung is already mourning and you are going to make things worse if you are going to stay like that right now! Calm down and let him cry, he is in need of personal space and time. So just let him be.” Changbin replied back to him.
“Hyungs!” both of them looked to Jeongin who was already annoyed about them bickering.
“Can you please both silence up and keep it down. And I beg for you two to leave my brother alone for a while, okay?” Jeongin sighed as he entered Chan's room to place the new meal he is serving.
Jeongin observed his brother who was spacing out while looking outside, Chan was nowhere near than okay. He sighed heavily as he went beside his brother's side and look at him.
"Still thinking about the whole thing, hyung?" he calmly asked Chan who was slowly lowering his head now.
It took a few moments of silence before Chan finally spoke.
"I-I should have not been so angry..." Chan spoke in a hoarse tone, a tear escaping his eyes.
Jeongin just watched his hyung cry again, he can only stare at how broken Chan was.
"M-Maybe he would have not left y-yet..." Chan spoke again, hugging his knees slowly.
Jeongin lowered his head too, knowing despite Chan's hatred and anger towards the Minho, his brother was suffering and missing him. Despite hating and blaming him for every tragedy, but the reality and the thought that Minho has left was a pill that is harder to swallow.
Jeongin too, was shocked when he heard that Minho already left, meant to say that he already finished his task and doing Chan's wishes for the good of everybody.
"It hurts so much...because I do my best to forget about what happened and reconcile if I have to. But not knowing if he is coming back or not, hurts me even more... I miss him, Jeongin. I hate the feeling that he is evil and cruel, but may the universe hear my thoughts and help me for I still seek his presence." Chan cried heavily as his heart was aching so badly.
He was craving for Minho's presence, his smile, for his warmth, his hugs and small kisses, he misses the love he once had. It's breaking Chan slowly, realizing that he the chances of being able to see his lover again were slim. Praying to his ancestors, that maybe...just maybe he will see his face again.
