Chan slowly puts the aid on Minho’s head, careful not to hurt the younger. Minho was letting him and trying his best not to wince loudly not to scare the older too. Their friends quickly rushed inside the room and saw Minho’s state.

“Oh my, are you okay Minho hyung?” Jeongin rushed to Minho immediately.

“I am okay, Jeongin. Chan hyung is helping me out, as you can see.” Minho smiled at the youngest of them.

“What happened, Chan?” Jayden asked also assisting him to help Minho get treatment.

“Some horses were on stray and Minho here was caught in the unfortunate event, I tried to run to save him but he instead saved me from another horse that was about to collide and did collide with the black horses. And so as result, we both got hurt when we landed on a wall and this guy right here was still trying to hold me.” Chan explained and puts a little bit pressure to Minho’s head.

“At least be thankful I saved you.” Minho winced, reacting to the pressure.

“I would rather let myself be in danger than to see you hurt, okay? You always look vulnerable so I will not let anything hurt you, do you understand?” Chan’s voice got deeper scaring Minho a little bit. He looked away feeling small and a bit scared of his hyung.

“S-sorry…” he whispered and grab a hold of his own hand seeing some wounds present in it.

Chan sighed while he looks at the younger, he was disappointed at the same time he wants to protect him even if the mission was supposed to be opposite.

“Do not be so harsh on him, hyung. Minho is still new to this kind of things, especially that he came from the future. He is not used to our society.” Jisung sighed and gently advised him.

“Jisung is right, hyung. As long as you both will be safe and maintain to be in each other’s side, I can say both of you will be content of what both of you will do in the future. Just trust each other at every way possible.” Changbin told them both and patting Chan and Minho’s shoulder.

“Poor Minho hyung, do you still want to explore for today, your Majesty?” Jeongin asked him.

“I do not approve of that, let Minho rest.” Chan said while taking a hold of Minho’s hand, cleaning it for him.

“But hyung, I want to go…” Minho looked at Chan, pleading.

“Minho, no. You have to rest; I’ll be safe in my own. Jayden will keep an eye on you here, safe from enemies and in danger.” Chan told him.

“But what if I don’t want to leave your sight? What if I want to stay with you and enjoy the day? I might be stubborn as hell, I don’t care. I don’t wanna be here and sulk the whole day. I don’t care if I’m a little bit hurt, I still wanna go with you and actually enjoy the trip.” Minho took a strong grip of Chan’s hand.

Chan was dumbfounded at Minho’s actions and words, the rest were shocked as well. Minho’s expression softened again after he knew what he did.

“Fine… I’m not gonna force you anymore. I understand you just want to make me safe. But you have to promise me something.” Minho looked into Chan’s eyes.

“What is it?” Chan asked him.

“Can you find me the rarest flower in town?” Minho smiled.

“The most rare flower? Of them all?” Chan had his eyebrows furrowed as Minho nodded and showed a familiar sketch of a flower.

Chan’s breath hitched as he remembered what flower was in the sketch.. It was like another set of memories had flooded all over Chan’s head as if he was coming back from the past again and those times where Rino and him were like this…
