Ok taking the latter,
Tokyo ghoul season 2 last & final episode: when Hide confessed that he knew everything about Kaneki being a ghoul & accepted it & said "Let's go home" (ok I am gonna cry now) & then Kaneki carried his body while walking in the snow. Touka was crying out for her best friend, Kaneki (or maybe ;) uk) while Anteiku was burning in the background. Her uncle was holding her off & it was revealed that Yoshimura had predicted everything.
That scene of death, the end, the dark abyss, the feeling of everything in ruins just because of some stupid rivalry & foolish hatred between humans and ghouls. Omggg with that dramatic af music....I loved it soooo much.

That song which carried so much passion & hatred in the 1st season turned into such a melancholic song echoing the helplessness & the bitter resentment of the protagonist towards the foolish enmity in the 2nd season. (Ok I have to cry now lol nah if u like this philosophy pls comment)
