AQUARIOUS PIER – 11:50pm She Who Snaps Them Open
No one expected the place to be this beautiful. Not just beautiful– it was breathlessly alluring and so fucking gorgeous.
Moreover, everything was in shades of blue and legendary hydrated; they had to take deep breaths to remind themselves that they weren't standing underwater. And the glorious dragon soaring above them just added more sparkle into their eyes.
Echo, the water dragon who they met earlier was assigned to escort them to their temporary accommodation. She was also the reason why Taehyung passed out from gawking at her breasts.
Although she was in front and leading the way, some of the students couldn't help but look back. Because the man who almost dragged Taehyung (once again) into the river when they first arrived at Chaedu-ri was now tagging along, flashing confused looks at the teenagers who peered at him nervously.
"Um, why is he following us?" Jennie whispered to Echo, who turned to look behind. "Oh, you're talking about Rai? Well, it is uncommon especially for wolf hybrids to enter the other Realms, but he's here to keep an eye on trouble. Aren't you, Rai?"
As soon as the young wolf saw the dragon's soft smile, he looked away and blushed.
Oh. Jennie thought. Oh.
Compared to the students, Echo only looked younger by a year or two, but Rai was actually the same age as them, according to the wolf leader Martis. It was only because of his well-built body that made them think otherwise.
Jimin effortlessly walked backwards to meet the male hybrid's pace. "Hey, Rai. I'm sure there's another reason why you're following us, aren't you?" The basketball captain smirked.
"My name is Ryder."
"Oh? So Rai is just a nickname only serviceable for your crush?"
Rai's menacing glare to Jimin immediately stopped when he spun to looked up. There was a tiny red figure with sanguine wings which flapped nonchalantly towards them. Her fluttering wings halted as she gracefully floats down, standing on one of the poles.
She was extremely enthralling to look at, but the exact opposite of Echo– if Echo is the angelic cyan dragon, this girl would be the desirable scarlet phoenix.
Her golden eyes bore into every human soul before her, "Well, well, well, what do we have here? A phoenix, a dog, a water dragon and some earthlings! All that's left is a winged horse to celebrate the diversity party. Shall I drag one of the pegasus here?"
Rai growled at her, causing the phoenix's eyes to finally flicker to him. "Down, doggy."
She crouched down and leaned closer to Jennie. Everyone silently watched the thick tension between the VXI's intimidating captain and Chaedu-ri's crimson hybrid. Jennie darkly glowered at her while the phoenix girl merely returns a faint sneer.
