-harry potter's pov-

I am ready to die I said to myself as I stood infront of him.

"harry potter. the boy who lived. come to die." voldemort exclaimed.

a long silent pause before it came. the green ray of light.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"voldemort yelled.

all I could see was a green ray of light before I woke up. in Kings Cross? it was different though. brighter, without the trains. professor dumbledore?

he led me to some seats and I told him about voldemort. he started walking away stating he had to leave now.

"professor, is this all real? or is it just happening inside my head?" I asked.

"of course it's happening inside your head harry, why should that mean that it's not real?" replied dumbledore before he faded away.

a ray of brightness hit my eyes before I was back in the forbidden forest.

"is he alive? draco, is he alive?" I heard a woman's voice ask. I simply nodded.

"dead." she said as she stood up and whipped her head back to face voldemort.

they ordered hagrid to carry me as we headed back to the castle.

-your pov-

"who's that hagrid's carrying?" ginny shouted at the dark side.

"Harry Potter is DEAD!" voldemort exclaimed.

"NO!" ginny yelled, arthur grabbed her shoulder to prevent her from running to them.

tears rolled down your cheeks. all this for nothing. the whole of hogwarts gathered outside.

"from now on, you out your faith, in ME!" voldemort yelled. "now is time to declare yourselves, come forth.... or die." he continued. no one moved.

"draco!" whisper yelled someone from the dark side. it was lucius malfoy. draco's father. draco stood quite far from you.

"draco!" whisper yelled lucius again but this time motioning him to come forth.

draco looked around waiting for someone to tell him to stay and that it was okay. no one did.

draco sighed and took a step forth but before he could walk away from the crowd you ran towards him.

"DRACO!" you yelled as you ran forward and gave him the biggest hug that he nearly fell. you pulled out.

"stay. stay with us draco." you said, holding his hand and interwhining your fingers together.

draco gave you a gentle smile and held your hand. tight. you led him back towards the crowd. when you both were behind the crowd you smiled at draco. he gave you the most gentle smile but his eyes were hurting. you hugged him once again.

"you did the right thing draco." you reassured him only now embracing him in a warm hug.

lucius furrowed his brows but stayed quiet out of fear that voldemort would kill him.

"well I must say I am terribly disappointed draco." voldemort stated.

"sure we may have lost harry tonight, but he's still with us! in here!" neville stated gesturing to his heart.

"they didnt die in vain! it's not over!" neville yelled before pulling the sword of gryffindor out of the sorting hat. just as he did you heard a loud thud and gasps and cheers coming from the students and professors.

Harry Potter is alive.

"confringo!" he shouted.

the students fled to deal with the deatheaters charging at them but all you noticed was draco staring straight at you.

he took your hand and led you towards a safer spot.

"thank you y/n." draco smiled softly.

"you were great draco." you said running your hand over his jawline.

suddenly he pulled you in the most warm hug and kissed you. you felt his soft lips but at the same time the taste of tears and blood. it was both salty and bitter. the kiss. none the less you slipped your toungue in his mouth and his hands made their way to your waist.

after 2 minutes you pulled away and grabbed his hand before you both made your way towards the castle to help the others.

"DRACO!" you heard and familiar voice yell.

it was lucius malfoy. that evil git wanted his son back and was pointing his wand at you, threateningly.

"stay, draco." you grabbed his arm.

"expelliarmus!" you spat which made lucius drop his wand.

"let's go draco!" you said grabbing his arm.

"I love you y/n." draco suddenly confessed.

"I love you too." you replied, smiling softly.
