Manhattan is the only place apart from Makkah and Madina that brings joy to Nabeelah, the sophisticated people, the horns of cars and the shuffling of people walking fast by each other gets to her. It is truly beautiful how diverse yet peaceful the place is. A cherry on top is the massive luxurious shops and of course Times Square.Walking down the sidewalk with her airpods locked in her ears, she feels at the top of the world, she's going to meet Nabeel at Hakkasan for lunch. She knows she's a certified foodie and eating at the best restaurant is only natural.
Her phone rang in the pocket of her long burberry trench coat and picked up almost immediately thinking it was Nabeel, but it wasn't him rather it's Kamaluuu AKA Kayy or Malam Malus like she teases him.
"Kayy whats up? Ya de? Ya London?" she asked a bit breathless
"Nabz calm down kina ina ne? I know you da yawo cikin Manhattan" He teased
"You know me so much Kayy, are you at the airport?"
"yeah I am,called to tell you we are boarding ma,Nabz pray for me dude, I wanna be outta Fàànilè like a lightning bolt to be plain honest, bana so Abuii ya rike ni" he complained.
Nabeelah smiled at the thought of her friend with his thick british accent and veryy sorry Hausa.
" You know what? you keep stressing I'm sure he won't if not zamu zo protesting wa Abuii.. look I won't lie to you I'm not worried about you going back home,it's you Kaay... when has anything ever gave you so much tension?" she added and immediately said " except when you are on a complicated mission"
"you are right matar Nabeel, by the way ina gayen nan ya boye ne? tell him to call me ko muce mun fasa bashi ke" Kay teased.
"Haha don't be jealous bro, there's a whole ass princess waiting for your return," she said
"kin manta! I don't even like the girl already, they are going to use her to pin me down in that place I'm sure of it.. anyway talk when I land in shaa Allah. Regards to N.Marwan"
"Alright your majesty,safe!"
After the ending the phone call Nabeelah rushed to get to Nabeel who was already waiting,as far as she know him if there's one thing he hates the most, it's waiting.

Kamal sat comfortably in the luxurious first class cabin of British Airways waiting to take off. It's a seven hour journey and he's using the time to catch some sleep. It's no brainer for anyone to figure out how stressed he is,so immediately after dinner he dozed off trying to completely forget about all the worries in his life, for now...
Six hours later,he woke up to the sound of the captain saying they have a little less than an hour to land. After some light breakfast he went to freshen up a bit and hopefully prepare himself mentally. As he's heading back to his seat someone bumped into him,it was rather intentional if he says so himself and he really decided to ignore it and walk away but seems like the person had other plans because the person is standing on the way.
"Well if this isn't a surprise, the mighty Lt Kamal El'thuraaj" a lady he failed to recognize said in a very annoying but seductive voice.
"Uhmm! have me met before?" he asked sincerely. Some emotion flashed in her eyes, maybe anger? hurt? but she masked it rather quickly
"Yes, I'm Almirah Bagiwa, the damsel in distress you saved week ago in London?!" she explained
"Oh! hi.." he did not want to have a conversation with this girl, so he made an excuse and made his way to my seat. Truly she doesn't think he's her mate right? So what her dad is a 'big man' ? Infact he hated the fact that the girl had the guts to bump into him and use that annoying seductive voice on him. Arrgh! he hopes he never sees her again..
