The Draw

Chapter 1

Ordis watches as his Operator is laboring over the foundry, "Operator, will you take a break?" Said Operator looks up from the bench and sighs. "No Ordis, I need to figure out how to put this weapon together. I don't understand."

"Maybe you should go out and ask other Tennos"

The Operator slams her fist down on the bench. "NO! I will NOT ask for help for such a fickle thing as a weapon." She then stands up straight and rolls her shoulders. "I'm sorry for yelling, I just hate the idea of working with others." She transferences into her frame, Mesa Prime. "Now then, I'm going out on a mission."

As she sits at the navigation, the Lotus speaks up. "Tenno, maybe you should join a clan. I'm sure they will help you with harder missions." This earns a scoff from the female. "They would just drag me down, I'm everything I need. A few guns and some brains." She then starts to look for a node to go to, deciding on the Brugia node on Eris. She stands up and moves to her Arsenal to gear up as she travels to the planet Eris. "Guns, check. Mods, also good. This should be a quick rescue mission, this would be my..." "It would be your 50th rescue, Operator. You sure you don't wish to take a break from rescuing people of the solar system?" Ordis informs and asks the green haired female piloting the Mesa.

"I'm sure Ordis, I can handle this and more." She says confidently as they arrive to the node.

"Prepare to drop, I got you as close as I could."

"That's all I need!" She yells with a smile in her voice as she drops down, adding a flip for flair. She looks around and starts to move quickly, gunning down any Infested she comes across. She slowly nears the holding cells of the person she needs to retrieve. "Now which one could you be in.." She mutters as she starts to unlock one, only finding a Charger in it. She quickly kills it and moves to another one, finding the hostage in there.

"Alright, let's get out of here shall we?"

"Thank you for saving me Tenno, could you give me a weapon? I have some scores to settle."

The female shakes her head and laughs "No need, we'll be fast enough to not need to fight." She turns on her heel and runs off, the hostage following close behind.

Next thing she knows she's being surrounded as the Hostage hides. She chuckles and starts up her ability Peacemaker, moving as she guns down the horde. The hostage moves behind her, being careful to not get in her way.
