a month passes.
a month of pretty much n o t h i n g .
i mean, aside from jeongguk and taehyung acting way more like a couple even though they still weren't.
i'm talking about hugging, hand-holding, kisses which made jeongguk shy for the next hour. they literally did this in school and everyone saw however they still weren't boyfriends.
aside from that, they'd been on a few more dates too.
whether they were actual dates or just hangouts that weren't labelled as dates but both boys knew that they were.
everyone at school thought they were dating and by "everyone" i mean literally everyone.
"they're so cute together, oh my fuck."
"i'm so mad jeongguk got tae before me."
"iconic."
"baekhyun, you and chanyeol might not be the cutest couple anymore."
"i want what they have. i'm so lonely."
even their best friends thought they were in a relationship.
they were convinced that they must've became official after that date and just forgot to say anything about it.
"so, we're agreed on them being a couple, right?" hoseok whispered to the other four as taehyung and jeongguk were lost in their own little world.
"oh yeah, definitely." jimin confirmed as he was sat on hoseok's lap.
"uh huh." yoongi agreed, not looking up from his phone, one hand on hoseok's knee playing with the rips in his jeans.
"yep, i'm sold." namjoon stated, poking seokjin's cheek annoyingly.
"for sure." seokjin finally said, smiling through the annoyance.
"should we ask?" jimin suggested.
"i mean, it's kind of obvious." seokjin said.
"or maybe we're just delusional." yoongi pointed out.
"true." namjoon said.
"well, i'll just ask them." hoseok announced.
"babe wait-" yoongi began but was cut off by his boyfriend asking them anyway.
"so, are you two dating or what?" hoseok interrupted their conversation.
"what?" taehyung asked, looking at him.
"are you two dating?" jimin repeated for him.
"uhm, n-no..." jeongguk answered.
"WHAT?!" all five of them questioned at once.
"wait, so you're not dating?" namjoon asked.
"nope." they both said.
"i-"
"bitch what-"
"but you-"
"i thought-"
"so you-"
a couple seconds of silence.
"aight." they all said before getting up and walking to class.
