(Day 5)
(Nothing but the truth)

"Ginger roots. Three of them please Tsu" Uraraka said as she stirred the large cauldron filled with bubbling liquid.

The other girl with in the old house hurried to the shelves lined with various glass jars. She had long green hair and a large witches hat on her head.

"Here we go. Three ginger roots." Tsuyu said as she threw the roots into the goop turning it a different color and making a puff of smoke billow into the air.

"Alright now we just need frog legs." Uraraka paused her stirring after she heard a soft gasp. "Tsu they are already dead they won't feel pain."

"I can't Ochako. You know that! I couldn't even buy them. I didn't have the guts to do it. Can't we use something else for the love potion? I'm sure the buyer won't mind."

Uraraka face palmed. Why would she think this was a good idea. The two witches had lived in the same house for many moons and constantly made potions for the outside world.

Ever since Tsuyu and her had become connected through a coven, the green haired girl vowed to never use a dead frog. So far she had stuck to it too.

"What do you suppose we do then?" Uraraka looked at Tsuyu who honestly had no clue.

"I have a suggestion~" The two witches looked up at the jet black cat who had been sitting at the top of the stairs.

"Wonderful. What is it?" Uraraka asked as the cat walked closer. The cat's name was Kyoka. She had been cursed be a cat for the rest of time. They adopted her on a dreary night like this one.

"Well...frogs are amphibians right? So are salamanders. I'm sure we could use their legs instead. Your not as attached to them right Tsu?" Kyoka looked at Tsu who nodded happily and ran to get the legs.

"I hope this works...also how are you not as connected to salamanders?"

"Ochako my father was a frog you know that. My uncle was a salamander but he was just horrid."

Uraraka raised a eyebrow at Tsu's strange family but shrugged it off as light blush and smile spread onto her face. "Your so strange Tsu I'm so happy we are... friends."

"I'm glad we are too Ochako." Tsuyu blushed a soft pink and smiled too. She gave the brown haired witch a hug before tossing the salamander into the pot.

At first nothing happened and the girls wondered if they would have to start over.

Suddenly the cauldron started to vibrate...then shake as the liquid sloshed around in it.

"Uh what's happening?!" Uraraka yelled but it was cut off as a bright light burst into the room.

The girls and cat flew back sliding across the floor as the light blinded them before going completely still.

"What just happened?" Kyoka asked as she attempted to help the witches up with nudges.

Tsuyu was the first to respond. "The potion didn't work. Obviously Kyoka."

Tsuyu covered her mouth as her eyes widened. "I'm not sorry that came out. What the heck! I didn't want to say that!"

Uraraka sat up rubbing her head as Kyoka looked at Tsu like she was crazy.

"Tsuyu are you alright?" Kyoka asked although she could already guess the answer.

"No. My butt hurts from sliding on the floor and I'm upset that the potion is ruined."

Uraraka put her hat back on her head and stood up. "I don't feel good either. I wonder if we accidentally made a different potion. You and your dumb frog obsession."

"Ochako! It's not dumb!"

The room went silent as a thought crossed through their heads. Kyoka was the first to say it out loud though. "Truth potion. I forgot salamander legs are the main ingredient."

"Great so we are stuck being truthful for at least 24 hours! We will never get the potion done!" Uraraka huffed and crossed her arms angrily.

"Awe Ochako no we won't get it done. I mean...oh nevermind this potion is the worst." Tsuyu said looking at the ground annoyed.

The cat started to laugh. This might seem crazy but in reality...she had come up with a evil plan.

Kyoka knew Tsuyu and Ochako had been crushing on each other for a while and decided to take matters into her own hands...well paws.

"So Ochako...how do you like Tsuyu?"

Uraraka uncrossed her arms and looked confused. "What? What do you mean?"

So it helps with the truth but not stupidity Kyoka thought to herself. "Do you like Tsuyu as a friend?"

The air was still as Tsu and Kyoka waited for a response. "No" Uraraka said quietly.

Tsu suddenly looked hurt. "What why? Ochako I thought we were really good friends."

"We are but we'd be better-" Uraraka covered her mouth blushing red as she realized what secret she almost spilled.

"Better what? Finish your sentence!"

"Lovers. Better as lovers is what she was going to say. Girls I've know you two for so long. Please confess! Speak your truth!"

Tsu looked at Uraraka with wide eyes. Then she mustered up her courage and said "Ochako...I like you more than a friend. That's the truth."

Uraraka stayed silent not knowing how to respond. The room had a very awkward silence and Tsu looked like she wanted to cry.

"I....I like you too."

Tsus eyes widened and Uraraka smiled and walked over to her. She hugged the green haired girl tightly feeling free.

When they finally pulled away Kyoka said "So now that you two girls have confessed and will most likely date maybe we should get back to the potion."

Uraraka looked at Tsu who looked right back at her with a light blush. "Yes."
