Godzilla:the infection{A (Unique?) Godzilla AU/FANFICTION}

The Past

(a/n:ask anything you need about the fanfic,do not judge)

Gojira had just gotten home from his job as a police officer,and ate a quick snack before going straight to bed,this was hard since...the mutos where his neighbors.They were loud.

"WOULD YOU TWO SHUT IT!?"Godzilla shouted,then he decided not to go to sleep.

He took a walk down the street,and greeted Rodan before going home and turning on the news.

"A new cure made by Dr.Orhani is being tested for the barely-caught,but unnamed and unknown illness.Some of the unlucky folks to catch this are: Angirus,Rahnar,and Osaki.We-"

Godzilla turned the television off,stressed that his best friend,angirus,had caught an unknown illness.The scariest part was,he would be one of the few ones to receive the cure for testing.

He remembered seeing angirus with a slightly white face on the TV,what would happen.

He called Mothra to calm down,even though the thought of Angirus being a possible illness victim is frightening.

<At the facility>

"Sir,are you certain about testing the cure on citizens yet?"Orihi asked.

"Yes.I am."Orhani said.

They entered the room angirus was in,and asked Angirus "Are you ready to be one of the first to get the cure?"

"Eh......sure."Angirus said,his voice cracked.

They walked towards the hospital bed-like bed Angirus laid in,and Angirus sat up.

"This is the cure."Orhani said,holding a cup of orange liquid.

Angirus grabbed the cup and took a drink of the liquid,slightly nervous.

Once angirus took a drink of it,he immediately froze in place.

This frightened Orhani.

"Angirus,are you alright?"Orhani asked.

Angirus turned his head to him,and Angirus's eyes had turned black,pitch black,and white liquid dripped down his face from his eyes.

"ANGIRUS!"Orhani shouted, frightened,the "cure" was never intended to do this.

Screaming could be heard as angirus attacked Orhani with no hesitation.

"SIR-!"someone shouted,running into the room.

Orhani was dead.

<At a mineshaft>

Everything was normal,but not for long...

"GUYS.A GAS IS LEAKING FROM THE CAVE WALL,GET YOUR GAS MASKS ON!"someone shouted.

They put on gas masks and ran to the exit,they made it,but got surrounded by the gas,running out of it a second later.

This gas contained the worsened side of the unknown illness,what was revealed to exist by the so called "Cure".

The gas masks protected the miners,but the gas was quickly headed for the city.

<At the city>

Gojira woke to the sound of sirens,and people where shouting "DON'T BREATH THE GAS!"

Gojira quickly found a gas mask(like the ones in Ichika's undertale AU,gastale,in Ichika's "break us all" meme),and put it on,then headed outside.

Ghidorah, unexpectedly,and while startled did the same somehow.

Mothra however,was working at a garden out of town,and she had no idea the gas was headed her way...

...Until she looked out the window,that is.

She tried to find a gas mask,but it was too late,at least she would be reborn if she died.

Her eyes turned black,and she attacked anyone she saw who wasn't infected.

The infected cannot see those who are infected until they're cured.

Someone who managed to get a gas mask grabbed Mothra's phone,which was laying on the ground,hid and called Godzilla to tell him the horrible news.

Godzilla awnsered and asked "who is this?"Because he didn't recognize the voice.

"I work at the garden mothra worked at."someone said,the one who called him.

"Then how are you calling with her phone?"Godzilla asked.

"I'm sorry,but she's infected."The voice said.

"With what?"Godzilla asked,concerned.

"The illness that was worsened by the so-called cure."The voice responded.

Godzilla cried,but he had to move on.since he couldn't use his atomic breath with a gas mask on,he grabbed a few guns and knives.

Afterwards he grabbed some other supplies and left his old home.

The place turned into a wasteland because the fight that broke out between Citizens,other people like that,and the the folks who worked where the "Cure" was tested since they were blamed for all of this.

Plus,the infected attacked random places.
