Chapter 10: Enter the Arena

I will only focus on JNPR and RWBY's fight against Crabulon.

Arena, Y/n POV

Another team just completed their match against the mushcrab. "Eve" and Raechel are the ones grading based on efficiency and effectiveness respectively. Dylan decided he's going to grade based on hp levels/aura left at the end of each fight. Leaving me to judge if they deserve to keep the loot. So far only JNPR had the option of keeping their bags, but refused to accept them. 

Flashback 

[Hart: Team CRDL's Final grade: B-. You took too many hits and too much time. Hand over the treasure bags to Raechel on your way back to the stands. Next up is team JNPR. Please head down into the arena after getting ready. You have five minutes.]

Considering JNPR is half of team Interrogate Y/n, I hope they get a B+ at least.

[Terrarian Private Chat]

[Y/n: So, Dylan and Raechel have already explained their semblances to us, how about you T-Bot?

"Eve": You're never going to refer to me as "Eve" are you? Regardless, my semblance appears to be control over all Girus Corrupted machines. Problem is there are none on this world.

Dylan: Don't you have that great sword that you showed me once?

Y/n: Total Corruption? That blade only corrupts androids, gynoids, and other robots, and chickens for some reason.

Dylan: What's a gynoid?

"Eve": Female android.

Raechel: Female android.]

That was weird. They were completely in sync when those messages appeared. I can worry about the Teochrome Rebels later, grading JNPR starting as soon as they enter the arena.

Since Crabulon has a small cool down after summoning before it attacks, the teams have all just started getting in chip damage... wait a moment. WHAT IN XEROC'S NAME ARE THEY DOING?!

No POV

Pyrrha shoots Nora with an electric dust round, empowering her via semblance. Jaune and Ren have ran around to the other side of Crabulon and Ren started firing. Once the first bullet hit, Crabulon started shuffling towards Ren. 

Jaune: Nora now!

Once he closed his mouth, Nora already smashed off one of Crabulon's claws. As in, she literally hit the infested decapod with so much force it shattered an arm and got rid of a third of its health. Due to the immense damage it had just taken, loads of smaller mushrooms flew into the air. Ren, using Jaune's shield as a platform, springs into the air and shreds through them like the helicopter ninja he is.

Y/n: note to self, add Nora to the do not piss off list alongside Yang and Weiss.

Missing a claw messed up the crustacious mushroom's movement by loads. Since the claws are used to help it jump, it can't anymore. This forces Crabulon to charge at its opponents. Not that it would have the time, as Jaune and Pyrrha both have been hacking away at the exposed mushrooms on its back, slowly revealing the rotted shell of the original crab. Swinging its remaining claw towards the duo, Nora got the chance to strike again, landing a critical bow to the spot Jaune and Pyrrha were chipping away at. This broke the carapace, as well as the internal "organs" of Crabulon. It collapsed into a pile and faded away.
