(1.1) The Beginning Of The End

I wandered aimlessly around the big empty house I called home. I was currently in the living room, navigating around the couches and tables, I came to a stop in front of the painting above the fireplace, I take a moment to look at it and then continue my journey around the house.

I start up the stairs of the large house, wandering down the many hallways, passing the paintings of me and my family hung upon the walls. After walking around for awhile more, I come to a stop in front of my room, I sigh and walk through my door, taking a second to look at all the posters on my walls, the books on my shelves and the guitar sitting next to my desk.

I wander over to the bed that was sitting under the window of my room, I had insisted that my bed be put directly under the window so I could look at the stars at night before I fell asleep. Of course, I didn't need sleep anymore, it was pointless. I look over to the nightstand next to my bed, my gaze lingers there for a moment without me even noticing, I blink my gaze away from the picture of myself and three other people. I look beside me to what lays on the bed, I find myself once more lost in thought as I stare at the spot.

I'm suddenly brought out of my thoughts from a sudden sound that came from down the hallway, curious of what the noise was, I make my out of my room and move down the hallway and come to a stop in front of the room where the sound had come from; Dads room.

The door was open and I could see my mother inside, with her back turned towards me, she turns around and walks past me, out the door. I watch her walk down the hall and turn the corner, I turn back to my fathers room and I stand there shocked at what I saw.

Little did I know, this would be The Beginning Of The End.
