Selfish and suicide do not belong in the same sentence together unless separated by the word not.

Suicide is NOT selfish, I have had 4 best friends commit suicide, family members commit suicide, and I’ve had my share of attempts.

You might think “oh that’s why she doesn’t think it’s selfish because she wants to commit suicide.” that’s a load of shit. Let’s go to my friend Jai for my example. Jai was taken away from his parents because they abused him very badly, if you’ve ever read the book “the boy called it’ (I believe is the name) that’s pretty close to what was happening to him, he went through so much trauma (that’s not my story to tell) but he was put into a foster home and the woman who cared for him got in a car crash he was also in the car, he was very badly damaged as his care taker died. He had no family. He committed suicide just last November (2014) you know why it wasn’t selfish? Because he didn’t deserve the shit he was put through, he didn’t think he had anyone, even though he had me, he wouldn’t hurt a fly. But he still was taken advantage of, he left me without saying good bye but he was so strong for the 14 years he was alive. Yeah I’m heart broken, but I have no right to be mad at him. I should be mad at myself (which I am) for not being what he needed.

Suicide isn’t selfish after everything people have gone through that’s the last thing suicide is.
