"so..um hi y/n" seonghwa said, before awkwardly shifting in his place.

"hey." you said, trying to take a glance at him, who was already trying to do the same.

you just stood there, just....staring at the wooden floorboard of your house for at least 10 minutes straight, before your mom came in and said, "come on- y/n? why dont you give him a little house tour?"

"yea sure, come along" you said.

you took him to all the rooms: the bathroom, the bedrooms and the kitchen. 

when you showed him miyoung's room he stopped and asked, "how old are you y/n?"

"s-seventeen, why?" you stuttered.

"there is a huge age gap between you and miyoung right? i mean not as a bad thing i -"

"yeah, about 16 years. its alright. anything else you want me to show you?" you said, smiling and looking around as he shook his head.

"thanks y/n" he said, before bowing down.

time skip to the next morning

the next morning was the day your parents were leaving, so the house was in a complete uproar, due to your mom literally panicking about nothing.

"w-what if something bad happens? should i cancel the tickets? should-" 

"nononono, mom- ive got this okay? relax..everything is gonna be okay" you said, slowly pulling her into a hug.

"gosh-y/n you've grown so much baby" she said, sniffling, as you pulled away and gave her a warm smile.

"im gonna miss you mom" you said, giving a peck on her cheeks, and then picking up miyoung, who was playing around with her toys.

"im gonna miss you too babyyy..." you mom cooed at her, making her erupt into a fit of giggles.

in a while, your mom had left, and you were waiting at the front door for seonghwa to arrive. just when you we're going to call him, the door bell rang, indicating that he was here.

"hey" he said with a smile when you opened the door. "may i come in?" 

"yeah sure" you said. he removed his shoes stepped in, and just stood there awkwardly yet again.

"you dont talk much do you?" you asked, looking straight at him.

"i'll talk more often when we get a little close to each other" he said with a smirk.

why the heck-

"where's miyoung?" he asked suddenly. his eyes just started sparkling and had a wide smile on his face as he looked around, then at you.

you found it cute how his face lightens up every time he talks about kids, seems like he loves them.

"she is in the living room right now- ill take you there" you said,  recieving a nod from him.

he followed you all the way to the living room, as you led him to miyoung.

"miyoung! hello!" he cooed at her, before bending down at her and picking her up into his arms. she giggled before playing with his hair, pulling on it slightly.

"she's spunky" he said, looking at you, leaning against the door frame.

"yeah she is. but she is probably 

more important to me than anything else"
