Black (part 1)

BLACK- CHAPTER-4

(Reader's perspective)

She started walking towards her home.

She heard some voices. It didn't took her long to recognize their voice. They were the people from yesterday. She took out her phone and started taking a video. She tried to hold her phone in the direction from where she first heard those voices and then she turned round to make sure to capture the scene from all three sixty degree , since she was unable to see anything. Then sent that video to her mother's phone ( which was the only number saved in her phone). While doing so she lost her balance and tripped. Her phone dropped from her hand. Then someone yelled " Look! that girl, go catch her." Yoonji got frightened. She gathered all of her strength and stood on her feet and then ran. She summoned all her breath and strength to run but she bumped into something and went unconscious.

After about ten minutes when she regained her consciousness, she found herself tied into ropes. Now she could here more number of voices, some different from before. She could hear some children as well.

One man asked" Can't pay more than that for this , he is too young I doubt if he could do any work properly." The other said " He may look young but the price you offer is too low. If you're not interested then I can show you others." It was bit difficult for Yoonji to understand the situation at first but later on she understood it. They were human traffickers and she was not the only captive there but there were many other people.

She was shifted to the room where other captives were kept. It was a terrifying situation for Yoonji. She began to struggle with her bindings. The world was already dark for her now she was also consumed in this kind of situation. She struggled to break free from her ropes biting her hands. Suddenly she heard a boy " Stop struggling, it's useless for us to struggle. It's impossible to break free. If we don't obey them then they will beat us to death." Yoonji felt so useless and hopeless that she began crying. That boy tried to comfort her. After about an hour Yoonji asked that boy" What's your name. How did they bring you here?" That boy told her" My name is Jin. I used to live with my grandfather. He was weak but still he use to work hard to earn money and bread. Even I used to work several at part time jobs after my school. But still it was not enough for my school fees so my grandfather too some loan from loan sharks. But my grandfather got missing since a month and I was unable to pay the debt. So those loan sharks sold me to these loan sharks." Listening this Yoonji asked" Wait! your name is Jin. Right. And you have a grand father......You know I met him today. He really misses you. He wants to see you." Jin asked" Really! How is he?......But I don't think I will be able to meet him anymore." Listening to his wavering voice Yoonji understood that Jin was crying. Suddenly, they heard police siren and soon there was a mast blast in that area. It was like some fight. The police caught the criminals and Yoonji's mother came running to her and hugged her. Even Yoonji was surprise about how that miracle happened.

Later her mother told her how the video sent by her helped the police to find those human traffickers.

Yoonji now felt safe and relieved.

Jin came to her asked her about his grandfather. Yoonji asked him to go to that place with her. She took permission from her mother. Jin, Yoonji her mother and police all went to that place.

Yoonji was able to see again, that garden and grandpa. Yoonji pointed towards grandpa and said" Look there, he is smiling towards us. His eyes are filed with tears . He is so happy to see you." Grandpa waved his hand and said" Jin, my dear child."

Then Jin said " What, Where?......What do you see in this this thick forest." Yoongi was surprised to listen this from Jin. Yoongi said " Hey! Don't you see your grandpa. He is waving his hands to us."

Jin again answered in a surprised voice" You really see my Grandfather?".

Suddenly, one of the policeman saw a corpse lying around there. Everyone ran towards that corpse. Even Jin went to take a look. And after that Jin began crying. It was his Grandfather's dead body. It was difficult for Yoonji to get hold of the situation. She went to Jin ask him whose corpse it was. And then Jin answered " My grandfather is dead". Yoonji asked Jin" Is he wearing pale blue shirt and black trouser." Jin answered " Yes". Yoongi was surprised as she was still able to that man standing in front of her.

Finally she realized( yes you guessed it right) what she sees is the "WORLD OF DEADS".
