Ice Break-ing Point

During the first break of the day Haku was reading a book on his phone while Tristan was still drilles with questions by students who came later. Haku listening with one ear noticed his name being said and looked confused around as to where it had come from. He looked at Tristan and the other way then tugged on his shoulder saying >>D-did you need some-... Erm something? <<
>>Oh what... Ah no these people where just wondering if I knew your name since nit many did<<
>>Oh... Okay then<< said Haku with a small smile he hid beneath his now dried sleeves. You could nearly say he internally giggled as he was told not many knew his name in his class, he k ew his plan of being mysterious in first and second class worked.
After the many question Tristsn had to fight through he tourned to Haku>> Do you have any question for me too?<<
Haku thought for a moment then finally saying >>do you have a job or do you live at home?<<
>>Oh, I am living at home but my dad is rarely there, he's around for his trips on mission from his job. And you?<<
>>Ah...< cought off guard Haku stuttered only the name of the Café Archive. Tristan was at first confused but then realized >>Oh, you mean the Café around the corner from here.<<
Haku nodded. Tristan was amazed that he worked at a place where he needed to be a bit more social but didn't mention it for now. He officially had broken the ice but also the time of the break.
The next lesson was sports class and Haku did not look well recieving the news thatvhr had to do sports on the first day of school. The teacher Mrs. Kardingar took them to the outsides to run some laps and play some games outside. This was considered a good sport lesson for Haku cause it was chill outside so he could keep his turtleneck on, normally it would have been to hot.
At first they warmed up then tested their sprints wich Tristan destroyed the competition, coming from a sportschool and Haku really wasn't in his element being nealy the top from the bottom. While Tristan was given mlre praise then already Haku was on the planet of the unknown people.
After everyone finished celebrating the domination of Tristan the teacher came to the conclusion to play some ball games. The game was called bunkerball. The goal is it to infiltrate the enemy bunker and put a flag down that was a respawn indicator. Tristan got to choose teams together with Mark, the second place of the sprinting competition who was 1.364 seconds slower than Tris. Haku was chosen on Tristans team while Mark chose the strongest players for this mode he could think of. After each team had chosen their players it was clear that Mark had a much stronger team on paper but still Tristans team had some tslents too, some of them just had been a bit too inconsistent to be counted as top players for that gamemode. Some others were only good in the defense of the bunker.
The bunker was a small wooden cover that lead into a deeper complex of halls not larger than 3 meters and with a length and width of 4 meters. They had specifically modeled them for this game. The round began and each side were given 5 balls, already at the beginning Marks team was up 2 players cause they eliminated 2 early. They do come back but had a 60 second timer on their reentry. Team T was pushed backcto the first wall of defense built up and Team M wouldn't stop pouring in. T
Hiding in the bunker, Haku told Tristan >>we're screwed<<
Tristan would want to disagree but couldn't cause they were outnumbered with 13v5 and the enemies are running in the bunker more and more, a rule is you can only enter the bunker without a ball, so you need to throw it in before entering. As they approched the final room Tristan got hit early and needed to leave the bunker.
Haku sat behind a box making himself very small as to not get tagged out. It woks pretty good until he is the last one in the game. He hears shoes slowly coming his way as he raises his hands to his ears. He fears getting hit by the ball. The box next to him moves as he freaks out but keeps himself quiet. He opens his eyes to see a ball right in his face. Slowly they raise the ball as Haku cowers himself together. All they notice from the outside is the sound of many balls hitting something and Hakus scream. Everyone knew what happened. Shivering he came out of the bunker after everyone else. His fear written all over his face and knees. Slowly he approched the others who seemed concerned but noone dared to ask what's wrong. The teacher thought of that behavior as normal from Haku so she didn't do anything to help either.
After PE Tristan came up to Haku to ask if he is feeling quite well to wich he replied with a simple >>nOoO!<< He apologized profusely for shouting at his new friend but he wanted to let a bit of anger out.
>>Okay,I see you don't like ball games. <<
A slight chuckle came across both of their faces as their schoolday came to a close.
