" Okay let's try that again"

I stood back and watched as the teenager murmured a spell and turned the book to water before turning it back to it's previous form. She turned around and mirrored the proud smile I had on my face. I gave her a nod and she happily ran off, just in time to meet her parents who had arrived to take her home. Her pigtails bounced as she told her parents about her new achievement. My heart warmed as they pulled her into a hug and led her into the car. Her mother turned around and waved when she saw me.

As I raised my hands to wave back, I felt the wind change. It was dense and smelled like dirt, blood and primal.

Rogues

My ears caught the heavy footsteps of a thousand of them running towards the territory. Their animalistic growls and incoming presence was still oblivious to the wandering people around.

"We have company!!" I yelled just in time as the wolves broke into the territory going past the protection spell we had.

"That's not normal" My vampire said

People had already began fighting back as the wolves started attacking. My mind quickly went to the children running away from the scene. My eyes caught a wolf aiming at them.

I shot a spell at the wolf and watched as his limp body flew to a nearby tree. A few wolves lunged at me and I quickly placed a protection spell around me but that didn't stop them. They finally got passed the yellow ball surrounding me. I fought them off and killed them with great effort and lunged at the others attacking the helpless one's.

By now the children had been sent to the safe house , leaving just enough of us to fight back. The more we thought were gaining the upper hand, more rogues ran into the territory. There was something or someone behind this because as I stared into the eyes of the wolf in front of me, I saw nothing but darkness. No purpose of intention other than to kill or get killed.

"Mary watch out!" A voice called out. I suddenly felt something push me to the ground. I held the wolf by it's jaw to prevent it from biting my head off . I let my wolf surface a bit and clawed it's heart out but not before it gave me a deep bite in my shoulder, earning a crunch as my bones misplaced.

I struggled to get up, as my shoulders bled and hurt like hell. I felt another wolf lunge at me, clawing at my legs and trying to bite my already bleeding shoulder. Another wolf joined in and soon enough I was covered by 4 heavily built wolves.

I was loosing it, a part of me was forcing itself from the barrier I had put it in. I couldn't fight back.

I couldn't fight the wolves of my body.
I couldn't fight the power blooming within me .

I couldn't fight anything. And that angered me.

I felt the power completely overtake my body as Artermis surfaced.

A new strength filled me as I pushed the wolves off me, pushing them away.

I looked around me and found many of my coven members dead with the wolves feeding brutally on them.

My anger increased and I felt my wolf take over. The Earth shook
