Hello, Everybody!

20/21/9

It's about time I did another one of these. When was the last one I posted? I don't remember.

So, I have these songs. I'm very proud of them!

Otherworld
(First rendered 20/15/8)

So.. remember Soothsayer?

There's a loop in there that I like a lot.

I like it so much, that I used it again! Twice!

In this song, and another song. The other song I don't think I'll send it out to the internet right now.

Now, about the song itself.
Mostly, I wanted to see if I could make the distortion setting sound good. Whether or not I failed isn't up to me, but I think it sounds good.

I put a lot of arpeggios and stuff in there, so I'm glad it turned out okay and not a jumbled mess of notes and instruments. I also messed with delay a bunch, so this was a learning experience! And it sounds awesome!

I'm back at it again with the pinks and the floating islands! Now there's dragons, an ocean, and broken buildings! They look meh, but they're a start! Except for the dragons, the dragons have always been good

I wanted to make this one about those stories where the main character gets whisked away into some magic journey in another world. I haven't read many of those stories, but I have read a few of the beginnings to those stories. I have read one of the Percy Jackson Greek Mythology books for a reading class once, but I'm not sure if that counts or not.

Imagine how the character would have to adjust to a new setting with new rules to go by.

Imagine if that separate world had a different time zone/progression of time than the world the character came from.

Imagine the jet lag.

(Kinda related,  I did make a note that was outside the scale I used as a base!)

I'm still trying to get grass to look good, and I'm definitely getting there!

I also found the masking layer options on Krita! I've been calling it the Overlay layer, but I've now grown from my mistakes.
