Chpter 3 - The AMAs

The guys went directly to the AMAs for the sound check. Nareesha and I were going shopping for the morning.

We got in this huge Forever 21 store. I couldn’t buy a lot of things because I can’t afford it on the moment but Nareesha got out with at least 5 bags she is a fashion diva. We were hungry it was almost lunch here in L.A so we decided to head to a restaurant close where the AMAs was going to be.

We ordered our food and kept talking for some time.

“Cam do you like Jaybird?” she winked and smiled.

“Jaybird? HAHAHA not at all I mean he looks at me all flirty but I am working you know I don’t have time for dating right now especially one of the guys I work for.” I bite my lip.

“Well you two have chemistry I can see through the eyes” she pointed to my two eyes and wiggled her eyebrows.

I laughed at her.

My phone started buzzing like crazy. “Nar I don’t know what is happening!”

“Calm down you’re just receiving mentions on twitter or someone is texting you a lot” she took a sip of her Coca Cola. “Let me check” I got the phone and unlocked it.

“Nareesha do I need to follow people who ask me to follow them??”

“Your option I follow some people when I feel like” she started eating her spaghetti.

“Well I am going to follow some prisoners” I laughed as I said prisoners because I don’t why they call themselves like that. I followed some people who were spamming me since Jay and Nathan tweeted me wow they really loved those guys.

The boys entered in the restaurant like dogs that were starving.

“BOYS CALM DOWN” They rushed to our table.

“Order?” the waiter smiled to the boys who had pushed her aside when they got in.

She had all the orders down on her paper, she left.

“So guys how was  the sound check?”

“It was amazing!!!” Tom commented eating a piece of bread that it was served.

“Beyoncé was there watching us somehow” Nathan said all proud.

Nareesha and Siva couldn’t be interrupted, no it’s not what are you thinking, Nareesha was feeding her spaghetti to Siva.

As they said about their sound check I kept seeing my twitter’s notifications. I don’t know how the boys didn’t get obsessed with this social network. There were mostly lovely tweets one or another were hate but nothing that I couldn’t deal with it in fact they were funny.

“So..” Jay tried starting a talk with me while I looked at him with the corner of my eyes.

“Jay Jay Jay I’ve heard you’ve been speaking a lot about me” I pointed out sarcastically.

“Who told you so?”

“A little bird”

“Hmmm Nathan to the Sykes?”

I nodded laughing hard. “Jaythan forever” I hearted out to him and Nathan.

Their food had been served and they all ate fast.

“Cam what’s your favourite singer or band?”

“Hmm I have a specific kind of music Indie, Punk and Rock” I smiled

“Singer? Band?”

“The Kooks, My Chemical Romance and Hey Monday I have others but..you know I don’t listen them that much as those three bands.”

“The Wanted isn’t included?” he asked laughing a tad bit.

“No I haven’t heard their music just I Found You” I shrugged my shoulders at what I’ve said.

“Could I sing you a part of one of their songs then?”

“Feel welcome” I drank my maple juice.

“You can hurt with the words you can change my life you can tell me the truth it was cut like a knife but I won’t let go but I won’t let go but I won’t let go you can fall hit the wall you can lose your way you can lose you can bruise standing all in the day but I won’t let go but I won’t let go cause if I had to save someone I still saved you and if I had to pray for someone I’d pray for you” he sang low just for me to hear it no one else in the table.

“That was so cute the lyrics! What comes next?” I asked him

“You’ll have to discover!” he pinched my nose.

“Another song let me evaluate The Wanted singing base”

“Okay here it comes I’ll sing one more solo and done if you want to hear more of our songs downloaded it on ITunes” he said fast and harsh.

“You’re not going to make me I can download illegally” I come backed him.

“I will have to call the cops then.” He joked.

“Sing to me! Stop blabbering about cops! ” I ordered him

“Words travel fast so you spend all your time in your head. What’s the point in that? ‘Cause words never last what you say now it’s not what you said and I’m OK with that. Your keeping yourself tied up so you won’t let me down didn’t you ever think just maybe? “

“That touched my heart Jay!”

“It’s beautiful I know” He smiled.

The boys started starring at us like they were on a mission to make us kiss or something a like which is not likely to happen today or never.

I was expecting a dramatic turn away from me or Jay but we stood still eating our food like nothing had happened but the boys kept starring at us.

“Quit it guys!” Nareesha said.

I smiled at her thanking.

It was an awkward silence on the atmosphere. “We are beautiful like diamonds in the sky!” I started singing when Nathan joined me in.

“Guys we need to get dressed the AMA’s is in three hours!” they all paid the bill and headed off on their own van to their hotel. Nareesha and I went to the hotel but in her rented car. As we got there we started dressing up in my room.
