Breaking point

Adrian's POV
I de_transformed.
." Adrian, I want Camembert. I'm hungry," Plagg whined.
I quickly gave him the stinky cheese he wanted.
Then door was opened and Nathalie came in.
." Adrian, your father wants to see you. He's not happy," Nathalie said coldly.
I knew one thing. I was in trouble.

I walked to my father's office. He was staring at mom's portrait again.
." Did you want to see me, father?" I asked.
." How dare you hide something this important from me, son!" father growled angrily glaring at me.
I gulped. Did he know I was Chat Noir?
." W-what are you talking about, father?" I asked fearfully.
." You and Miss. Dupain_Cheng are dating secretly. How dare you keep it from me?" father yelled at me.
Oh no, how did he figure it out? Maybe Lie_la told him.
." So yeah, I'm dating her. Because I love her. Just like how you loved my mom," I said bravely.
." How dare you speak with me like this, Adrian? I thought I raised you better," he yelled at me.
." You don't even care about me! Ever since mom disappeared you isolated me," I growled angrily. I couldn't take it anymore.
Father seemed to be shocked that I spoke to him like that.
He shot me a death glare.
." You'll break up with that baker girl this instant," he demanded.
." No! You're not my boss. This is MY life," I yelled.
He grinned evilly.
." No? So you wanna ruin her, don't ya?" he snickered.
I began to sweat. I didn't like his attitude.

." I can shut down their bakery. Then they'll have to leave Paris for good. So you'd better obey me, Adrian," he hissed.

I got so angry. I ran to my room.
." I'm sorry, kid. That man is so heartless," Plagg said trying to calm me down.
I felt awful. I had to break up with my princess, Milady, my dear Mari.
I transformed to Chat Noir and went to Marinette's house.

Marinette's POV

I was happy and excited for the baby.
Then I heard a knock on my window.
I quickly opened it letting my little kitten to come inside.
But he seemed to be upset and he had cried for hours.
." Kitty, what's the matter?" I asked worriedly.
." Claws in," he whispered.
." Mr. Heartless is forcing Adrian to break up with you," Plagg said annoyed.
." Your father? How did he figure out?" I asked.
." I bet Li_la told him," he replied sadly and broke out crying.
I hugged him.
." It's okay, my kitty. It will be all over soon. And we can be together again. After all I am your lady and your precious princess. And you're my prince my pun making partner and my little kitty," I said hopefully.
But on inside I was dying. I wanted to cry, scream and break down. But I had to stay strong. I was Ladybug.
He managed to smile weakly.
Tikki and Plagg were upset as well.
Everything was going smoothly and a little liar had to destroy everything.
." Adrian, we still can be with each other as Ladybug and Chat Noir. No one except me, you and Chole knows our identities. Or you can check on me as Chat. So it won't be over," I said.
Adrian smiled.
He kissed me on lips.
It felt so good.
." See you at patrol, Milady," he said as he transformed and left.
I sighed as I sat down on my bed.
A tear escaped my eyes.
." Marinette, stay positive. You and Adrian are not over," Tikki said smiling.
." I know. It just hurts me so much to see that Adrian is hurt because of the love we have for each other," I sighed sadly.
." Marinette, you'd better go to bed. You have school tomorrow," Tikki reminded me.
I laid down on my bed thinking of my prince charming. Poor Adrian! He had enough to deal with.

Time Skip the day after.

." Marinette, you're gonna be late for school," Tikki yelled.
I jolted up.
I quickly changed my school. I used to like pink but now I mainly wear black clothes.
I put on some makeup. I didn't want anyone to know that I cried myself to sleep.
I grabbed my backpack and ate an apple for breakfast. Because I didn't feel like eating anything. Even though I had to eat something even for my baby.

I walked to school. When I stepped inside the school I realized I was in trouble.
." Hello Mari_trash," Alya smirked evilly.
I stepped back uneasily.
." Who's ready to teach this brat a lesson?" Kim grinned.
I gulped I had to find a way to get myself out of this.
But before I could do anything I was pushed roughly against the wall.
Kim held me tightly and Alya began to punch me and kick me.
." Alya, stop! My baby!" I screamed.
Ivan joined in beating me up.
I screamed. My child was in danger.
." I'm pregnant. Stop!" I screamed one more time. But no one paid any attention to me.
The next thing I knew was the world going black.

Elsa's POV
I was walking toward the locker room when I heard someone screaming.
Marinette!
I ran seeing those stupid bullies were beating her up.
." I'm pregnant! Stop!" Marinette screamed.
." Let her go!" I yelled.
Then Mari passed out.
I quickly rushed to her side.
Then Chole arrived.
." What the hell is happening here?" Chole snapped.
." I don't know. Ask these bullies!" I snarled.
." Hey! We're not the bullies she......," Alya growled.
." Yes, you are. You were beating up a pregnant girl," I yelled.
." Pff, she was difinetly lying to get all attentions to herself," Kim glared at me but I really didn't care.
." Chole, quick, call ambulance," I yelled.
Chole nodded and pulled out her phone and called ambulance.
By that time Luka, Kagami, Adrian, Nathaniel and Alix arrived as well.
Adrian was so upset. I knew of his feelings for Marinette.
Seeing his loved one like this was the worst thing Adrian was seeing.
The ambulance came and she was transported to the hospital.
Then we alerted her parents of the situation.
They both wanted to skin that filthy liar alive. I really wanted to do so. But unfortunately my kawami, Ella said that it wasn't very heroic to torture someone even if they're worse than any terrorist.
We were all in hospital waiting for Marinette to wake up.
But Adrian couldn't stay with us because of his damn father who I want to burn him alive with my powers.
We decided it was time to visit Marinette.
When we went inside of her room she was still unconscious.
Then the doctor came in.
." How is she?" Mrs. Cheng asked worriedly about her daughter.
The doctor took off his glasses and sighed.
." She's good. But......," the doctor began.
." The baby!" Mr. Dupain exclaimed worriedly.
." Unfortunately she lost her baby!" the doctor said sadly.
We all gasped.
Poor Mari! What did she do to deserve this?

Marinette's POV
I heard some people talking.
." How is she?" It was mom.
." She's good. But.........," a man said. I guessed he was a doctor.
." The baby!" dad exclaimed.
I felt my heart beating faster and faster.
." Unfortunately she lost her baby," the doctor said.
I felt my heart breaking into million pieces.
I lost Adrian and the symbol of our love in one day!
I opened my eyes.
." Please tell me it's not true," I said shocked.
Tears were welded in my eyes.
Everyone looked sad.
." It's gonna be alright, Mari. We are here for you," Chole said putting her hand on my shoulder to comfort me.
I hugged her and began to cry into her chest.
She hugged me back.
." You can leave hospital if you want Miss. Dupain_Cheng," the doctor said. He knew I couldn't stay in that place any longer.
I quickly nodded.

Time Skip two hours later

My parents took me home.
." Honey, we're here for you. We support you no matter what," mom said.
It was good that some people were on my side though. But I was numb.
I managed to nod.
I ran upstairs in my room and locked the trapdoor.
I fell on my knees and broke out crying.
." Oh Mari, please don't cry. You're my best friend. I can't bear seeing you upset," Tikki said sweetly.
." I can't do it anymore, Tikki. I lost my friends. I lost Adrian. I lost my baby. I lost everything. I'm too weak to be Ladybug," I sobbed harder
." Why? What did I ever do to deserve this? I went out of my way to help people. I sacrificed everything for people who I thought were my friends. And how do they repay me? By killing my baby!" I cried.
I was so busy with my tears that I didn't notice a black butterfly flying toward me.
." Marinette! An akuma!" Tikki yelled.
I jumped up leaning to the wall.
I difinetly couldn't resist Hawk Moth this time around.
So I quickly took off my earrings.
I threw them for Tikki to catch.
." Tikki. Go. Now," I yelled.
." Marinette, please don't let Hawk Moth get to you," Tikki screamed.
Then the world went all black.
." Ladydark, I am Hawk Moth. So your so_called friends betrayed you for pretty lies? I'll give you the power to get your revenge on them and reveal the truth. All you gotta do is to bring me yours and Chat Noir's miraculouses," Hawk Moth said.
." N-no, I can't," I stuttered trying to fight the akuma.
." So what? Everyday you save people. Do everything for them. Put them before yourself. And how do they repay you? By killing your baby?" Hawk Moth said.
I fell on my knees tears were streaming down my eyes.
." Fine, Hawk Moth. I'll give you the miraculouses," I gave in into his power and darkness was all I could feel.
