A change of heart

Chloe's POV
I was sitting on my bed thinking deeply.
Marinette did nothing wrong and yet she's been tortured the most.
I know by fact that Jagged Stone alergenic to cats. Leave alone having one.

Besides Marinette has a heart of gold how could she ever do that to Lila.
She didn't do anything to me even though I tormented her for years.
Now I really regretted it. She was so kind to me and how did I repay? By making her so miserable.

Heck, she even mended the broken relationship between me and my mom. She could have gone to New York City and live her dreams of being a fashion designer but she sacrificed that for me. And she didn't even brag about it to me.
Why? Why was I so mean?

Tears were streaming down my face.
How could I even call myself a hero?
I had to give her something to make it up for her.
I walked toward my closet. There something caught my eyes. A beautiful necklace with Ladybug pendant.
I liked it but never used it because it didn't go with any of my dresses. And it remained useless.
I put the necklace in a box and put it in my bag.

Adrian's POV
." Claws in," I whispered.
." Ooh, somebody is in love," Plagg whined.

." Ugh, shut up, Plagg," I groaned as I flopped on my bed.

." That's why I always love Camembert. You won't have to pick which one you like better," he teased.

." But Marinette is just a fri......
She's just a fr-rie..........," I tried to say.

." What? Cat got your tounge?" Plagg teased.
." Maybe I do have a crush on her," I whispered.

Marinette's POV
." Marinette, wake up. You're going to be late," Tikki yelled.

I jumped out of bed.
." Oh no, school starts in twenty minutes ago," I exclaimed as I looked at my clock.
I quickly changed clothes, brushed my teeth and my hair and went to school.
But there was something I forgot. No one liked me anymore. Because everyone was glaring at me including my former best friend.

I sat on my seat as I sighed.
Lila was late.

." I hope she isn't causing troubles," I thought fearfully.
And right then Lila came in.
Oh my God, not again. She was crying crocodile tears again.
." Lila, what happened?" Rose asked worriedly.

." M-marinett, p-put gum on my hair," Lila stuttered as she was crying crocodile tears again.

." What the heck?! I didn't do it! I was here before you even came," I snapped.
." Oh don't worry, Mari_trash. We'll serve you after the class," Alya sneered making me gulp.

At class I did my best to pay attention to the lesson and not be afraid of what was waiting for me.
After the class I went to the locker room to get my books. As I turned around to leave I faced an angry Alya.
Then there was Kim, Nathaniel, Max and Ivan.

." So, you put gum in Lila's hair, huh?" Alya sneered.
I stepped back.
." You must be punished. Right?" Kim said.

Then Kim pushed me against the wall and held me tightly.
And Alya began to punch me in stomach.
I yelped in pain. Then Nathaniel kicked my legs.

." Hey, leave her alone, you losers," a blonde girl snapped.
To my surprise it was Chloe.
." Oh what a coincidence!? A bully supporting another bully," Kim snapped.
." You're all ridiculous. What did Dupain_Cheng do to you?" Chloe snapped.

." She bullied Lila," Alya responded.
." Did you see her do this?" Chloe yelled.
." But we all saw the gum in her hair," Max replied.

." Ugh, I am asking you again. Did you see her do this?" Chloe growled in frustration.

I remained shocked. Chloe and I were never in good terms. Why the sudden change?
." If you keep on bullying her, I'll tell principal Damocles," Chloe threatened.
All of them let go of me.

." I'll get you, Dupain_Cheng," Alya whispered in my ear.
I fell on the ground.
Chloe helped me up.
." Oh my God, are you okay? Do you want me to take to nurse?" Chloe asked worriedly.

." Chloe, if you don't mind me asking. Why are you so nice to me? Even though everyone hates me," I asked sadly

." Listen Marinette, I am so sorry for everything I've done to you. You did everything for everyone. Even helped me with my relationship with my mom. You could go to New York and live your dreams. But put them all behind you to just help me. You don't deserve any of this. Can you forgive me? Or maybe we can become friends?" Chloe said
I stared at her shocked.

." I get it if you don't want to forgive me. I've made you so miserable. I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry," Chloe said as she began to cry.

." Chloe, wait," I called.
She stopped. I quickly hugged her.
She remained shocked.
But then broke out crying.
." Chloe, I forgave you. Please don't cry," I said cheerfully.

." B-but how can you forgive me this easily? I've made you miserable. I bullied you for years. And yet you forgive me without expecting anything from me," she sobbed.

." Isn't it what all heroes do? What kind of person will I be if I don't forgive you?" I said kindly.
." It's the exactly thing you must expect hear from Marinette Dupain_Cheng," Chloe chuckled.

." Oh and by the way, thanks for helping me out there," I said.
." Your welcome. It was nothing. Oh I have something for you," Chloe said as she pulled out a box and gave it to me.
." This is for you. A gift for our friendship," Chloe said.

I opened the box to see a beautiful necklace with a ladybug pendant.
." Wow, Chloe, I don't know what to say. This is so expensive. I can't accept it," I said.
." Too late. It's yours now. Come on, put it on," Chloe said excitedly.
I put on the necklace.
." Thanks, Chloe," I said as I hugged her again.

A/N: Okay, some of you might hate me now. Because you hate Chloe. But she has a heart and has the potential of being kind and caring. I kinda like her character.
