New Year over. January over.
I know I shouldn't be complaining but it's been about six months since I left the Murphey's, and moved in with my mom. Ever since I have moved in, my mom has not been a mom. Her hours have gotten longer and later so I never see here. At one point, I thought about calling the Murphey's but I didn't.

One day, I was in the lobby of the hotel and I see a family walk in. There is a dad, mom, and three boys- wait! I decided to go get a closer look.
It’s the Murphey’s!!!!
“Carley!” Says Michael Eric, running to me with a smiling grin.
“Oh my gosh!” I gasp.
I give him one of the biggest hugs in the world.
I say hi to the other guys and hug Mrs. Murphey.
“We’ve missed you so much!” said Mrs. Murphey.
“I missed you guys too,” I said, “but how come you came here.”
“To visit you,” said Daniel.
I smiled. Just then, I heard a familiar voice say,
“Mrs. Murphy, what a surprise!”
It was my mom.
“Hello, sorry for not giving a notice but we came to visit you two, to see what is up,” said Mrs. Murphy.
“Well thats nice,” said my mom in a bitter tone, “Can I talk to you alone really quickly.”
“Of course.”
They walked off to a far corner.
“How about we go unpack,” said Mr. Murphy, “Carley, tell Mrs. Murphey where we are.”
“Ok,” and they walked away.
I crept over and listened to them.
“You flew here to take my daughter away, didn’t you,” my mom said.
“We wanted to see how she has been!” Mrs. Murphy replied angrily.
“Well, the reason I brought her out here immediately was because I wanted her to be with me!”
“Then you should of done what was best for her. Living in a hotel and never seeing her is not good!”
“Carley loves it here.”
“I don’t think not seeing her mother would be that fun!”
“Do you think you are a better mother??”
Mrs. Murphy didn’t reply and walked away.
All I did was sit there, speechless.
