Rowan crossed his arms, pleased with what he had done to Castor.
"He deserved it", snickered Rowan, when Kai, his Best Friend, asked him what happened to Castor. They both laughed when they saw him walk past, he growled at them. His face was covered in blood and a few bandages around his legs and arms. Rowan had done him bad.
Rowan didn't get any punishment, because it wasn't Castor's choice. The chief, Kylor, had agreed with Rowan when he said that Castor was making fun of him and his mother.
"You're not here to punish these children, Castor, your here to train them for their sakes", said Kylor to Castor. Castor snarled but agreed to what his father had said. Soon, everyone around the training palace was talking about how Rowan had fought back to Castor, and every now and then some of them would walk up to him and pat him on the back. Rowan felt popular, and it was a good feeling too.
