FARHAN'S POV
All my 34 years on Earth I have never come across a crazy person like that lady. Well the saying " Many are mad, few are roaming" is really true cause she is the first mad person I have seen who is not roaming.
She hurried out of the elevator in a flash before I could say another word. I let out an exasperated sigh and exited the building. There I found my secretary standing beside my car with my driver. I took another glance at her and averted my eyes. Calling her my girlfriend was an insult and I'll have that crazy lady pay for it.
She opened the door and I slid into my car before the driver took off.
" Welcome home son. How was office today?" My mom asked as I sat close to her, tugging my ties. Honestly I hate ties, they are just some suffocating stupid fabrics.
" Let me help" my mother says and she carefully loosened the tie and took it off.
" Thanks Mom. " I said and she smiled in returned.
" If you had gotten married as I asked you, she would have to do all these" she said and Immediately I stood up. I really don't have time for her tantrums today. I don't know if she never gets tired of telling me to get married.
" See you tomorrow mom" I waved at her as I headed upstairs.
" I hope one day you'll really get over everything and start a family" she shouted at my retreating back.
" If your dad was alive today am sure he wouldn't be happy with what you've turned yourself into." She added and I felt a pang of guilt hit me.
I respected and loved my father so much but the main problem here is I don't think a woman who would genuinely love me exist. They are just bunch of golddiggers and Heartbreakers. If they don't want me for fame, they definitely would for money.
Believe me I know all these from experience. If Anabelle wasn't a competent secretary I would have fired her for always trying to get me in her pants.
I entered my room and met the foolish quack who calls himself an Oncologist. He is an Arab guy I met in Saudi Arabia when I went for Hajj and he was foolish enough to come to Nigeria afterwards.
"Fahad what are you doing here" I said with a scowl.
" Chillax man. You talking like you weren't expecting me" he answered with a bubbly smile.
" So why are you here? Don't you have work to do? And later you'll say that you're not a quack" I scolded before pulling off my suit, tossing it on the bed before sinking into it's comforts.
" No wonder am your only friend" he muttered under his breath but I choose to ignore because to some extent it was true.
" I heard what mum said. Why not give it a try. You're thirty four years old " he said, stupidly blinking his eyes trying to look cute which he failed miserably at.
I let out a low hiss before picking up my tablet " I don't have time for golddiggers Fahad, and I definitely don't have your time."
" Well am just trying to play my part as a friend. No offense please" he replied, raising his hands in defeat.
" Says the Thirty two years old man who doesn't have a girlfriend" I said with an eyeroll before I continued going through the details of today's meeting on my tablet.
" Well at least I have a crush " he Said with a coy smile and I released a hiss for that.
" Well that's good for you. So stick to her and stop bugging me" I replied, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Soothe yourself" he said before exiting my room and muttering a Goodbye.

After lunch meeting with the Executive director, we were coming back into the company with Annabelle listing my remaining schedules for the day when I spotted her hurrying for the elevator.
This time around she entered the elevator all workers uses which made me begin to wonder why she decided to back out.
" Mr Alejandro arrived in Nigeria today. Would you like to see him right away or should I make an appointment? " Anabelle asked, which immediately made me take my eyes off the crazy lady.
" No. Make an appointment " I said as we both entered the elevator. Maybe if she had decided to use this one today she would have known that I was infact the CEO here not the secretary's boyfriend.
~~~~~~~
The day went fast as I continued to drown myself in paper and pen pressure. I just had so many proposals to sign, to many projects to approve. By six, I was done and ready to go home. I don't do paperworks at home, that's for lazy people. Paperworks are office works and are meant to be completed in the office. Only some simple stuffs I could do on my tablet or computer is allowed to be done at home.
I exited the building with Anabelle and I spotted the crazy lady apologizing to someone before she crouched down and picked up the person's bag.
" Clumsy Oaf" I muttered under my breath.
" Do you know that lady?" Anabelle asked me.
" Never mind. " I replied with a dismissal wave of my hand.
"Take me to Fahad" I said to the driver after settling in the back seat of the car.
The drive was quiet as always just the whooshing sound of the evening breeze and the busy streets which looked full of life.
He parked the car in the front of the hospital and I made my way to the Oncology department.
I placed my hand on the doorknob to open the door when someone from inside forcefully shoved the door open.
She came out sprinting towards the exit and am sure she didn't even notice I was there talkless of knowing that she had hit past me on her way out.
I shook my head as usual before I remembered that this isn't the company, it was a hospital. What was she doing here?
I entered the office and met Fahad massaging his temples. He looked frustrated.
" What's wrong with the lady?" I asked before changing my mind. " Never mind, I don't want to know" I added, deciding it was none of my business.
" Even if you want to know I won't tell you because am not allowed to disclose information about my patients" he said with a mocking smirk.
" See you there acting like a real doctor"
