I... have no name.

I'm just... called Seiryuu.

???
"Shin...!"
"...Ah!"
"Shin-Ah!"

I turned to look at the person behind me.

She had shoulder length silver grey hair that reflects the sun, and pretty pink and yellow heterochromia eyes.

Shin-Ah
"Mee-Yon? Why are you here?"

She wore a purple robe over a magenta turtleneck long sleeves shirt along with a green jade Buddha necklace, and magenta pants. She also has a purple cloth loosely tied on her right wrist and wore black flats to cover her feet.

She smiled at me as her face flushed her peach skin.

Mee-Yon
"Well, I knew you be here, silly."
"But I could ask you the same thing? Why are you here, Shin-Ah?"

She tilted her head in concern.

Mee-Yon
"By any chance... is there something bothering you?"
"You've been looking at the sky for a while now."

I shook my head.

Shin-Ah
"It's nothing. I'm sorry for making you worry."
"Come on, let's go inside."

I took her hand, but Mee-Yon stood still and was silent for a moment.

Suddenly, she snapped her fingers.

Mee-Yon
"I know just the thing!"
"Tada! Look, I brought food!"

In her hands was a huge dumpling.

Mee-Yon
"I got this dumpling for you and I made sure no one noticed what I was doing too!"
"I'll go and pick up some herbs and berries for us later. And maybe I could find some meat while I'm at it?"
"Ah, also I'll see if I can find water too. The bottle for it is almost running low."

I looked at her hands and noticed there were light red burn marks on them.

I then looked back at her.

Shin-Ah
"Mee-Yon..."

Mee-Yon
"Yes?"

Shin-Ah
"Stealing... is not good."

Mee-Yon
"Ah..."

...

...

...

Mee-Yon
"I'm sorry..."

Shin-Ah
"It's okay. I know you're thinking about me."
"But... it's not good to steal from the villagers, okay?"

Mee-Yon
"I understand..."
"But we should eat outside more often!"

Shin-Ah
"It's also not good to change the subject too."

Mee-Yon
"I'm serious! The sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and everything is sparkly gre--

Rain suddenly poured from the sky.

The two of us looked up as raindrops sprinkled down our faces.

Mee-Yon
"But I plan to make meatballs!!!"

Shin-Ah
"It's okay, Mee-Yon."
"There's... always next time."

Mee-Yon
"*pouts*"

Before I met Mee-Yon...

My first memory was darkness.

The village where I live was different too.
