Dream Come True

The days seem to blur as we spend every day together. 

Waking up to your gentle voice like angel from above. 

To be greeted by your smile even before the sun comes up. 

Blinding my vision with those pretty pearly whites. 

As you send me off to my day empowered and energized.

I take the day head on with such high spirits. 

With a sigh of relief that I'm okay and everything is taken care of. 

Everyday is a new thing added to the routine we have normalized.

I am given the opportunity to be loved, to be reassured, and to be taken care of. 

You have added a sense of wonder and adventure into my life. 

That I started to ask myself where have you been?

I've dreamt about you on and off. 

I've been looking for you on and off. 

The time I decided to stop you found me, coming out of left field. 

I have become so entranced by your compassion and generosity of your love.

Within time I realized that you are a dream come true. 

With all the tears I shed waiting for you, it soften the soil for you grow and find me.

All the whispering wishes I made into the stars, you used them to guide you to me. 

All the unsent love letters my heart left behind, you found them to learn how to love me.

Now you are here in the flesh, loving me, caring for me, making me laugh. 

In my wildest dreams I never thought I would meet you so soon. 

You were a figment of my imagination and now you're here and so close I could touch you. 

You are my dream come true, I wish to never wake up from.
