Bob woke up in a dark and cold place. He was frightened he didn't know what to do. Should he try and run away? The ideas he had seemed impossible. Bob was trapped inside a little metal box! He could here other chickens around him but he didn't dare speak.
Bob was getting nervous. What was gonna happen to him? Will they feed him make him live on a farm? Or worse, will they kill him! So many thoughts were rushing through his head. He closed his tiny little eyes for a second, breathing deeply. He knew something was going to happen and he just needed to except his fate.
All of a sudden he hears a door opening. Light poured in from the entrance and a tall figure stood in the doorway. "What's going on?" Bob thought. Had they came for him? The figure came in and turned on a light. Bob could now see the figure clearly. It was the man that grabbed him! He pushed himself farther into the corner of the cage,trying not to be seen. The man had walked right past his cage and instead to the one next to him. He opened the cage door and pulled out the other chicken.
The other chicken started to squawk trying to break free from the mans grasp. Bob was so scared. The man walked back but stopped at Bobs cage. He looked in and said "Ill come back for you once I'm done with this one." He banged on his cage startling Bob.
The man walked back to the door, turned off the lights and shut the door. Again Bob was surrounded by darkness. He hoped that a miracle would happen and he wouldn't have to suffer what the man was going to do to him.
