Take me back to your bedroom

The place I used to know

Take me back to your bedroom

A place that once was my second home

Lying in bed with you

Made my worries drift away

A leaf on through a quaint stream

While we explored ourselves

Drifting away into our own dreams

Nights of loving conversations

Discussing adolescent aspirations

Morph into crippling loneliness

And emotional lacerations

Four years, memories still feel brand new

Four years, still missing you

Take me back to Greenway Street

The site of my dreams

Take me back to your bedroom

So the world can stop

And I can melt with you
