Deadzone: Project E.V.E

Prologue

I am Logan wake and this is the story of how i will survive in the world full of zombies, it started a drug that is said to enhance the capbilities and sences of mankind, but.... The drug turned into a virus, the virus is called E.U.D
Evolution.Upgrade.Drug but because of the "flaw" that made the drug control the mind making a drug that can kill people or rather....make them into a Cannibalistic Zombies this made the world a hell alot more crazier

alot of "them" the cannibalistic people or in zombies is ending lives left and right, the virus enhance their sences of sound and smell and even physical capabilites, hell they run hours just to get their snack on someone, now my story begins.....

It started when i was playing online with friends in a game called "Zed rising" Heh, coincidence? I think not, some time later someone knocked on the door like their angry or frustrated perhaps drunk, i was not expecting company that day, i slowly got to near the door and spoke
"Who's there?" after speaking i got no response from the man behind the door but now the knocking became bashing like he really wants to get in or something, i quickly grabbed my bat beside the couch and said
"Who's there, i got a bat!" no response again and the bashing kept going and suddenly i heard the door creaking because of the stress given by the man behind the door, i got a little scared and went back 2 steps, i now see the cracks on the door get bigger, the man is beggining to go through, i got more scared making me shake, thats when finally he broke the door and got in, the man looks so pale and he has wounds everywhere face, arm, legs hes bleeding everywhere its like he's dead but he's walking at the same time, he then walks slowly to me trying to get hold of me
"Stay back! I'm warning you!" he did not stop he just walked going towards me, i just had to what i had to do fight back, i flicked back the bat and swung going across his head making the man or should i say zombie go down, "it" tried to got up that made me decide to get another strike at that head of his i put my pat over head and swung downwards hitting his head making him drop dead to the ground, later 2 more came in it was time to go out rather than be eaten, i rushed to get my Bow and my quiver together with my backpack and car keys, i ran towards zombies and attacked them making them go to the ground, as i ran to my car that are in front of my house, the 2 zombies got up and went to chase me, i got inside tried starting the car and i failed
"What!" i tried again and the engine kept failing to start the zombies got nearer as i kept trying to start the car, the zombies are now outside my car bashing my windows to get me, the car finally showed signs of starting, i kept trying until.
"Yes!" it finally started and the window in my left side got smashed and the zombie got hold of me, i immediately took off with the zombie hanging on me, i punched it as it was grabbing me tight and wont let go i tried swaying the car but it was no good, i then saw a wall across the road, i then steered to that wall and scraped the zombie off of my car, i continued driving until i saw the other houses which was on fire, i even saw people getting eaten by mutiple zombies, others tried to fight back but failed, i was lucky to escape my house, later an intersection came up i drove straight, i then saw a truck coming up and making me be flung across the road into a house infested with zombies, my vision was blurred but i was able to again after a while i then saw zombies coming up to me that made me panic to get out and saw my arm was in between a wall and the door of the car, i quickly tried to pull out my arm but it was no use, i looked around and saw a lubricant for machinery i quickly grabbed it and sprayed my arm both between my arm and wall and the door, after that i quickly tried again to pull out my arm and it was beginning to slip i kept trying until i got it out, i then grabbed my bat, got out the car and smack 3 zombies to the face, grabbed my bag and ran away, people were dead around but others were not dead yet for they were fighting, i helped one by killing one of the zombies, it was a man and his kid, i then grabbed my bow nocked and arrow and shot a zombie from across the road saving a girl, i then heard a moan behind so i grabbed an arrow and stabbed the zombies head then i pulled the arrow and nocked it to shoot the zombie in front of me, i continued running on the way to a SUV 10 meters away from me, i ran to it until i got in it and opened the fuse box to hotwire the car and it started at one try
"Really? My car failed 5 times and this started at the first try?" i placed the gear to first and got out of the house into the road going to the highway, i let out a big sigh after that and drove, the things i saw flashed in my mind and got me confused of what is happening... But i knew that they are name "them" anymore the "people" i killed earlier was not people anymore, i shifted to the 4th gear and rode the highway to the next city which is 10 miles away, i opened the radio and switched it to a frequency where they broad cast news,

"hundreds of people died while escaping the massacre which is made by a man who went into a maniac and started "eating" others this man is now dead being shot in the head, others were wounded by the same man and it was said that they're "bitten" and these people who are believed dead was now in bodybags, as for the government they are planning to do Project E.V.E where they will nuke the city were the apocalypse started, Chicago the said project will be done on mid winter and is said to be in tssttbtttss-" the radio was cut off after that making me tap the radio saying

"When? Come on!"

but theres no luck, i decided to turn off the radio and went on going to the road to the next city which is.... Chicago.... I got no choice but go there and try to find help.... And whatever happens.... I need to survive in this hellhole....
