Memory (slam poetry)

6: nostalgia and conclusions.

What will happen to you and I,
If you are now just a memory
If you and I are not meant to be,
If you and I will, never exist

What will happen to our happily ever after,
That we have promised and kept in our hearts,
That even if the stars and moon collide,
Nothing will ever break us apart

Maybe I'll just stop finding questions to my answers
Stop escaping from reality
And accept the worst truth of all
That you're gone, you're already gone

Maybe you are really just a memory
And you will never come back
And you're long gone and move on
With another girl

Now is the time,
To fix myself,
To fix my life,
Try to make things back into place as if nothing happened

Now I'll be living on my own
I'll be forgetting the unforgettable past
And face all of these by myself
And somehow try to be okay

Now I'll accept that my life's story,
Is not like a fairytale like Cinderella's and Barney's
That is full of happiness
And always end in a happily ever after

Maybe I'll end up all alone
All choked up but still standing like nothing happened
Like the Most important person in my life,
Never actually my life, but always stays on my mind

Love maybe pain that kill us through depression
But behind all the negative things that describes love
We must never forget that its the only thing, that gives us satisfaction and happiness

And those are the memories I'll always remember
That even if the most important person in my life is gone
He will always have a spot in my heart
And we will always have some memories
