Darwin Theo Dantè preferred not ever to be called Theo cause of an incident that had occurred on his seventeenth birthday, six months ago.
Ever since that day he didn't want to hear that name come from anyone. Kleopatra Dantè took care of darwin as a single mother after darwin's father died. All she's been trying to do was to get that day out of darwins head. Darwin hadn't been in school for six months, which was more his mothers choice than his. They both knew it was time he headed to school. Kleo couldn't handle homeschooling and going to work at the same time. She couldn't get darwin a personal tutor because she had trust issues and paranoia. She then decided to send darwin back to school. Darwin didn't care whether he stayed home or not. He was okay with it as long as no one spoke to him.
The morning before Darwin went to school, Kleo was on the phone with Jessica Parker,a friend of hers from work who was on a business trip in another country.Kleo: How's the vacation
Jessica: it's a work trip
Kleo: Five star hotel, spar day and hunks and you call that work?
Jessica: it's work with its perks.
kleo: right
Jessica: you should be here with me. without you this just feels like work
Kleo: Thats what It is and you know I can't leave him here.
Jessica: I thought you said he was going to school today
Kleo: Tomorrow
Jessica: wow Kleo, when are you gonna realise keeping him from other kids is just gonna make things harder for him.
Kleo: are you sure?
jessica: yeah, my parents did the same to me before... they kept me away from other kids because they thought I was some prophecy child
Kleo: wow wow wow, don't lump me in with those guys, "parents of the year" they tried to kill you. Twice!!
Jessica: And you're gonna drive your son to killing himself. He needs to make friends.
Kleo: (sigh) I mean him no harm. im just scared but you're right.
Jessica: entering a plane, gotta go, love you, bye.The call ends and Kleo heads to work.
