Chapter 28

~Y/N POV~

When I asked Jungkook if he wanted to come with me to my appointment, I have to say he pulled the most adorable smile I had ever seen but he was trying to keep it cool but failed miserably.

My appointment was today and together with Jungkook this time, the two of us alone to this appointment but he did already so happen to know my doctor already through Nayeon which was awkward at first but as the appointment went on it became more comfortable.

It was just a routine check up really, nothing special but I did have another scan done too just to check on our little girl and all seems to be well. She's growing fine and her heart beat is just great also which is always good news to hear.

Together the two of us were staring at the screen together but as I watched the screen, the baby more formed now, you could see her head shape, even her pouty lips and even her hands that sometimes move in a way to make it look like she's waving. She doesn't look like a little bean anymore and that's different for Jungkook. He's only use to seeing her on a piece of paper from the scan but this time he's seeing our baby on a screen and the last picture I know that he had seen she was only tiny so this would be all new to him and maybe even a little shock I guess.

The room was silent as the doctor was making notes and taking pictures as she moves around on my stomach to get the right angle she needed. Sometimes pushing down which made it a little uncomfortable but it needed to be done. I felt someone grab my hand gently that I rest on my hand, I didn't look because it could only be one person, Jungkook. I didn't look at him because I couldn't. I don't know why but I just wanted to focus on my baby. Maybe because I could already tell he was emotional with this whole thing.

The doctor soon enough finished smiling at me and kindly handing me some tissue to wipe my stomach and then standing up from her stool.

"Well everything is coming along just nicely Miss Park. Here is your pictures that I had printed for you and I'll book your next appointment for you and I'll see you again then." Doctor

I nodded and wiped my stomach from the gel. She held out the pictures for me in her hand as I sat up but I motioned for her to hand them over to Jungkook to take for me while I sort myself out. She nodded at me and forced a smile passing them to Jungkook who took them with his free hand since he was for sure refusing to let go of my hand. Maybe it's a comfort thing?

He helped me to stand up from the chair and he passed me my jacket which I put on again after he finally let go of my hand to do so. Just watching him in this room he didn't seem to know what to do with himself now but stand there looking around the room with his big doe eyes.

"Thank you doctor."

She sat down behind her desk and waved at me as she was typing something down rather quickly but I didn't question it.

"I'll see you again Y/n. It was also nice to see you again Jungkook." Doctor

Jungkook nodded and stuck his left hand in his pocket already at the door pulling it open for me.

"Yeah you too Sara." Jungkook

With that said Jungkook and I left the room and he closed the door behind him. Now the two of us started to walk down the long corridor with the plain white walls with the floor to match. This place stinks of antibacterial cleaning products. I never really noticed before but I do now and it's a lot.

Jungkook took out the pictures from his pocket as he must of put them in there before we left the examination room.

"Here do you want them back?" Jungkook
