~Y/N POV~

Today Joy and I have been given the all clear to leave after spending three days in the hospital. Even with Joy being premature, the doctor assured me she's perfectly healthy and I couldn't be more happier with that.

Taehyung and Namjoon took our stuff, bags, balloons and such that family members and friends have brought in, all to the car. Jimin couldn't skip work today since he took so many days off but I understand why. At least I could see him later this evening at home.

Yuna and Lisa were meeting us at home while Yoongi stayed back in my room to make sure we had everything.

"Are you ready to go Y/n?" Yoongi

I heard him from the door but I was too busy clipping Joy into her car seat.

"Yeah all set but Yoongi there is one place I would like to stop by first."

I told him now looking at him as I picked up the car seat, pulling the handle over my forearm. Yoongi sighed, but nodded as he knew exactly what I was talking about.

"Jungkook?" Yoongi

"Yeah. I need to see him before leaving."

Again he nods and steps to the side to allow me passed and out the door with Joy.

Last night I was told by a nurse that Jungkook woke up and I was refused access to him at that time since the doctors wanted to check him first but another nurse told me this morning that I was more than welcome to see him before leaving and that's what I'll do. It doesn't feel right to leave here without him.

Walking along the corridor I followed the directions that would lead to his floor which was above mine. Yoongi knew where is room was so he lead to there and stopped once we reached the closed door.

I put the car seat down on the floor, bent down to unbuckle her and carefully take her out. Thankfully Yoongi didn't question my actions and remained quiet. I pulled up the newborn in to my arms, resting her small head to my shoulder as I used one arm to rest under her bum and another around her back to hold her securely.

"I'll wait out here for you. No rush." Yoongi

"Thanks."

Mumbling to him he nods and pushes down on the handle for me and opens the door wide enough for me to step inside.

The first thing I noticed was the sound of the heart monitor beeping continuously. Sliding to the side away from the door Yoongi closed it behind me and I turned towards the bed in the centre of the room. There was Jungkook laying up right, staring a head with a breathing mask over his nose and mouth.

"Jungkook?"

Slowly his head turned to my direction and his eyes grew in size and he pulled off his mask using his good arm that wasn't casted up on his other side. Opening and closing his mouth he clearly tried to speak but I didn't expect him too. I remember being told by Jimin and a nurse that Jungkook has lost the capability to speak right now. Something about not forming his words properly.

I took a couple sets towards him but paused when his sights finally landed on the small newborn in my arms. That was when the tears that showed up in his eyes almost instantly as he pointed towards her.

"T-T-Th-T-" Jungkook

I nodded and came to his bedside, taking a seat on a chair. I slowly and very carefully turned her around in my arms so her front was facing him and he can see her face for the first time. The whole time his eyes never left her but when he did get to see her face for the first time he cried even harder and reached out his good hand towards her just to softly poke at her nose.

"This is our daughter Jungkook. Jeon Joy."

His eyes grew in size again and bore his sights into my eyes. At first he resembled a deer in headlights until he grew a massive smile and reached for my hand and brought it towards his lips, placing a small kiss to the back of it. He doesn't have to say it, I know what he's trying to say. Something of a thank you mixed with some cocky comment that Joy was finally chosen.

"S-S-Sm-Sm-" Jungkook

"Small?"

I asked him and he nodded, his eyes going back to our baby on my lap, as she gurgled in a mind or her own staring up at the ceiling with her eyes.

"I know but she's healthy though. We're going home today and the both of us wanted to come see you."

I smiled at him and he quietly chuckled, just telling by the way his chest heaved up and down.

"G-G-G-(sigh)- Go-" Jungkook

I placed my hand on this arm, seeing how frustrated he was getting that he couldn't form his words.

"You don't have to speak Jungkook, it's okay." Jungkook

He still wasn't pleased, but shrugged it off anyway.

"Since you have one arm that's okay would you like to hold her?"

Jungkook shook his head at me, trying to utter more words but nothing came out but I wasn't taking no for an answer I know he wants to. Standing up I carefully held her out and Jungkook had no option but to curve his good arm to cradle her between his arm and chest.

Joy squirmed a little when we exchanged but she soon relaxed in his arms once I let her go and sat back down to watch the two share their first official meet.

Jungkook's eyes never left her, the pure love in his eyes for her and the tears coming from his eyes it was obvious she is going to be the centre of his world. I watched him move his hand that cradled around her reach for her small hand and place a finger in her palm as she closed her small fingers around his.

He looked up at me and smiled through his happy tears and that made me join him in this balling moment. Again he tried to mouth something to me but the look in his eyes I have seen before I know. I know what he's trying to say and I'll wait until he can say his words again to say it back.

Instead I got up from the chair and kissed his lips which he recuperated. I cupped his cheeks as he looked into my eyes.

"You saved the both of us and I cant begin to express how thankful I am. Jeon Jungkook, you have officially gained my heart, now and forever."

More tears shred from his eyes as he leans his forehead against mine to then share another passionate kiss while our daughter rested in his arm unknown to what was going on around her. It's the three of us forever, well for how ever long this man is willing to have me.
