Draco Malfoy stood outside the doors of the Hospital wing, his eyes clamped shut with his back against the wall. His son Scorpius stood next to him silently. Scorpius could hear the screams of agony of his brother inside the hospital. The Dark Mark was getting bigger engulfing his body slowly.

“Why didn’t you tell me Father.” Scorpius asked, his voice filled with fault.

The hospital doors opened and there exited Harry Potter with his daughter in his arms sleeping.

“Tell me Father.” Scorpius voice softened a little as he his eyes on Lily.

‘You were never suppose to know.’ Draco thought to himself and started to walk down the halls leaving Scorpius behind.

The Dark Halls of Hogwarts were occupied with only the two of them with Leo’s screams occasionally ringing through the halls.

As Draco walked down the halls millions of thoughts swept past him. Then one thought hit him hard. How would he tell, Astoria. He knew she missed Leo more than anything. He knew the misery in her eyes overtime she looked at Scorpius.

“Malfoy?” He looked up surprised to see Hermione running down the hall.

“Granger? What are you doi-” Before Malfoy could finish his words, Ron interjected.

“She’s a Weasly now Malfoy, yo-”

“Stop it Ron. Don’t act like a child.” Hermione whispered giving him a frown. “Harry told me what happened, I’m here to help.”

Draco nodded slowly. “Thank you. I really appreciate it.”

“Come on Hermione we have work to do.”

Hermione looked back as she walked down the Hall. Draco stood still.

“Draco remember, don’t run away!” Hermione said.

Hermione’s words lingered in the halls for a while as the Weasly’s footsteps got further away. A single tear rolled down Draco’s cheeks. This time he wouldn’t run away. He couldn’t run away. He would keep himself together for the ones he love.
