Chapter 1

Scorpius’s POV

She lay on my shoulder as the hum of the train slowly lead her to sleep. Her red hair has gone dull loosing its beautiful fiery color and her skin was pale. As pale as a Malfoy’s.

Stroking her hair I brushed some strands away. She had gotten weak while she was held captive. Back at Hogwarts, she would usually wake up with nightmares and I would be called over to the Hospital wing. I comforted her to sleep and would occasionally slip in with her as well.

After Lily had been found, the Wizarding World was in peril.

When the Aurors went to investigate the chambers. They Death Eaters, they were already gone. No one in this Wizarding world knew where they had gone. They tried to coax, or sometime force, some information out of my brother but he had been unconscious, just occasionally screaming painfully for the last few weeks.

There had been several reports on the attacks of Death eaters, even in the Muggle world. But all of the victims and their everyone in their surroundings were murdered. No one left their cottages after the sun began the set.

The Ministry made several speeches regarding this apologized several times for the inconvenience. The speech always ended with a promise that peace would be restored in the Wizarding World soon.

Looking out the window I realize that the last few days has been the most relaxing, and peaceful days ever since 7th year had begun. Spendixng quality time time with Lily for the first time in ages and helping her recover from the abduction.

After a few Death Eater attacks had been made, Father decided that he would send Lily and Albus to our Manor for protection until everything was back to normal, after peace had been restored. Basically The whole Order of Grytherin would be staying at the Manor Before our departure back home. Father firmly told me to keep quiet about my brother. Mother was not to know. Just not yet.

The door to the compartment slides open and Albus Potter enters. I can see his still doesn’t seem pleased with us being together. He’ll have to deal with it.

“We’re almost there... Hows  Lily doing?”

“She’s fine, fell asleep about an hour ago.”

“Alright. Just wake her up soon.”

He lingers in the door way for a moment then later slid the doors back shut and returned to his  own compartment that he was sharing with Taylor.

The train began to slow down as we approached Platform 9¾. As the rails began to get rough and Lily began to stir. She opened her eyes and looked around. When her eyes landed on mine, a smile formed on her lips.

“Are we there yet?”

Lily asked as she stood up stretching looking around our compartment, then out the window. London’s scenery was slowly flowing across as the train was approaching King’s Cross station.

“In a few minutes. Tired?” I stand up to stretch as well.

“Nope. Not at all.” Lily said cuddling me. “I’m feeling great.”

The doors slide open one again and four Aurors stand there offering to escort us.

“Leave your luggage here, we will be responsible and carry them out. We’ll be arriving in a few minutes. Please, allow us to escort.”

As we head out of our compartment, one of them start a small conversation with Lily.
