Her friend checks up on her, while she's sobbing in bed. She hasn't been outside in days. She skipped school. Her friend sympathizes with her, and so she says:

He was manipulating with his wealth. It was sick, but deep down she still loved him.
He's smiling at the picture. The designer clothes, the diamonds.
Now that just goes to show me money don't attract a thing.
Both being broken, they're still mature.
