"- Said baby, mommy loves you
I wouldn't know what I'd do without you.
Said baby, mommy loves you
I wouldn't know what to do if I was to loose you.

Said baby listen
Said the very first day I held you in my arms, I knew.
That I had to change my ways.
And keep you safe from harm.

Oh, and when you smile
It makes my life worth while

And worth living.

So every night I pray
And thank the lord that you're my blessing.
My baby boy, you're my everything.

And mommy loves you,
My pride and joy.
Mommy loves you,
My baby boy.
And later on in this life,
You'll hear this song it's called Mommy's Lullaby.
Said mommy loves you,
My pride and joy.
Mommy loves you,
My baby boy.
And later on in the life,
You'll hear this song it's called Mommy's Lullaby

Lemme tell you sumthin.
I know that I'm still young
And some people like to judge
Of what they see.
But I'm gonna raise you good.
Oh, you just wait and see.

Cause mommy loves you,
My pride and joy.
Mommy loves you,
My baby boy.
And later on in this life,
You'll hear this song it's called Mommy's Lullaby.

Said mommy loves you,
My baby boy.
And later on in this life,
You'll hear this song it's called Mommy's Lullaby.
You'll hear this song it's called Mommy's Lullaby.

Said mommy loves you,
I wouldn't know what I'd do without you.
Said mommy loves you
I wouldn't know what to do if I was to loose you. "

I closed my eyes tightly as I held my son in my arms. He no longer felt so small and fragile, he was his old self. His hair smelled like that bubblegum shampoo I used to wash is hair with. He smelled like home.

His face was glowing, and he seemed so healthy to me. I couldn't help but smile at the brightness of his eyes.

"Mommy?"

I peeled my eyes open slowly and smiled and the sight of my son. "Yes bubba?"

He leaned forward bringing his little hand up to touch my cheek. I smiled through the tears streaming down my face and grabbed his hand in my own.

"I love you mommy."

I nodded kissing his little lips. "I love you too Armani. I always will."

This is where I want to be forever. Here, home with my son.

People will call me crazy, they'll call me insane. But they don't get it, they don't understand what I'm going through. But I don't expect them to, I know what's real.

Being with my son makes me happy. I'm no longer lonely. I'm happy and to me, that's all that matters.
