One of the worst sounds in the, alarms. The beeping rang through the room, waking Jade from her sleep. 'Great, school.' She thought as she threw off the covers and dragged herself into the shower. As the hot water washed over her, she started to wake up more, thinking about certain people she hadn't seen for two weeks, giving her something to look forward to.
After dressing into some decent clothing and taking care of her dark hair that always started in an afro, making herself somewhat resemble the beast from Beauty and the Beast. At least that's how Jade liked to describe it, being the total Disney freak she was. When Jade wasn't looking like the beast however, her friends said she looked like a Disney princess. Jade headed downstairs where her mum greeted her, back towards her daughter, watching TV and drinking coffee.
"Morning Jade." She said, turning around when she heard the girl walk into the room.
"Morning." Jade mumbled, still half asleep.
Not really feeling like much for breakfast Jade just made herself a cup of tea and grabbed some biscuits before heading out the door.
Jade had spent the first 16 years of her life in Newcastle, but had moved to London with her mother and her brother Karl. Her parents had split just before Jade was about to start her first year of college due to her father being involved in illegal business. Thats when they decided on the move to London, as they all wanted a fresh start away from him. Jade couldn't believe a man she had known and trusted her whole life could do such a thing and she hated him for betraying her like that.
Jade was now in her second year of college and had made a fair few friends in London, including her best friend Perrie who she learned was also from Newcastle and that they had only lived a few streets away from each other but somehow never met. Perrie was a few months younger than Jade but you could never tell that by looking at them. Jade was at least a few inches shorter and Perrie's face was more mature looking than hers. Perrie was born in a different year to Jade but they were still in the same grade due to Jade's birthday being at the end of the year.

There was almost no one on the grounds when Jade arrived minus a few teachers so she decided to read some fanfictions on Wattpad for a while, waiting for her friends to arrive. About three chapters into a book she was really enjoying, two girls Camila and Lauren showed up.
They were both in the year below the Geordie girl but Perrie, who had known them from the private school she attended before college, had introduced her to them. The three girls just talked for a while until Jade heard a familiar voice behind her, Perrie.
Jade turned around, and was greeted happily by her friend, not having seen her for two weeks before hugging the brunette tightly.
"Hey Pez." Jade said, the shorter girl's heart going a mile a minute. There was the feeling of butterflies in her stomach just like every other time they touched.
Perrie Edwards, not only was she Jade's best friend, but she was also her crush. The girl had been crushing on Perrie ever since the end of last term, but had never had the courage to tell her. Jade had almost told her during the holidays but had chickened out, twice. None of her friends even knew she was a lesbian.
"Hey Jadey." she smiled. Today Perrie was dressed in black skinny jeans, a white shirt, black converse and a blue dangly necklace that perfectly matched her eyes. Her blonde hair was done up in a ponytail, held in place with a Disney themed scrunchy, yes, Perrie was a Disney fanatic too. Jade thought she looked absolutely beautiful and she didn't even have to try. Another girl, Jesy, who was in the same class as Jade and Perrie and very good friends with them, arrived late, as usual. She took a seat to the left of Jade, absorbed in her phone.
