Perrie had spent her holidays ignoring message after message from Jade, messages asking why she was so pissed off and what she could do to fix the rift between them. The truth was Perrie just didn't know how to respond. She didn't know why she was lying to her friend about this. Although she did get rather pissed off at Jade for lying about that account. However, Perrie realised she probably would've done the same thing if the situation were reversed.
It was the last week of the holidays, Friday. The messages were coming through as usual but Perrie just glanced at them, not properly reading them because she didn't exactly want to know what Jade was saying in case she was tempted to reply. She just felt as if she had to distance herself from Jade before things got out of hand.
Jade became quite annoyed and confused over the weeks from Perrie's constant lack of interaction with her. She just wanted to work things out with the girl. She missed her. Perrie couldn't lie she missed Jade as well but she couldn't let anyone know what was really going on inside her head.

Sunday night Perrie was going through her messages. There was one more from Jade, and one from a guy named Jacob who had messaged her once before but Perrie had no idea who it was. She hadn't replied to him, thinking he just got the wrong person. After getting a second message Perrie decided it was best to check it and see what he had to say.
Hey Perrie you should talk to Jade, she really misses you. She wants to know why you're so mad and keep ignoring her. The text read.
It took a minute for the message to sink in. Jade missed her? Did this mean she wasn't mad? Perrie thought in confusion and figured it'd be a good idea to read the messages from Jade.
Hey Perrie, please don't be mad at me, I can't stand it. Tell me what's going on.
Why are you so pissed off?
Omg Perrie just answer my messages I'm begging you. I don't even care why you're mad anymore, I just want to talk to you.
Pez please talk to me. I don't like the thought of us not being friends, it kills me.
That was enough for Perrie to regret everything she'd put her friend through over the past 6 weeks. She had to talk to Jade again. But she didn't even know what to say. Eventually she thought it would be best to wait until she went to school the next day and talk to her in person.

It was the first day back at school. Jade walked through the gates to be greeted by three people. Jesy, her friend Ally, and Ally's friend Normani.
Soon after, Leigh-Anne arrived, with none other than Perrie. Jade was sort of surprised when the blonde actually said hi to her, as well as calling her by her nickname. It took a bit for the Geordie to come out of the state of shock. "Hi" Jade said, smiling, still confused as to why Perrie was even talking to her, and why now?
All was going well for most of the day, until lunch came and Perrie went and sat next to, you guessed it, Zayn. Jade felt nothing but pure hatred towards Zayn now, maybe that's just cause she was so jealous, not to mention the offensive comment's he would occasionally throw her way. Jade brushed it off, knowing she'd get over it eventually.
Jade and Jesy were at another table with a few other friends. Leigh was with Perrie as usual. They were all laughing their heads off at something funny Zayn had said and Jade was just left feeling miserable. Jesy tried to take her mind off things but nothing really worked. At one point the blonde caught Jade staring and she instantly averted her gaze. Jade couldnt look her in the eye or she'd probably break down right there in the cafeteria. Even though she was surrounded by many people, Jade felt extremely alone for the rest of the day.
