It's October 20th, 1975. The full moon shines bright on Hogwarts grounds. The entire school is asleep. Well, everyone except for five schoolboys by the names of Remus Lupin, James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and Severus Snape. The four Marauders make their way to the Whomping Willow, and unbeknownst to them, Severus is following.

"I hope we don't get caught."
"Relax, Moony, you're always saying that."
"That's right, Pads. And have we ever been caught?"
"No we haven't, Prongs."
"Yeah, well, there's a first time for everything, James."
"Well, we have our routine down, don't we? We'll be fine as long as we stick to it. ...Oi, you alright, Padfoot?"
"Yeah, fine Prongs. Why?"
"You were just spacing out a little. Let's call Pete back, yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Wormtail, we're in the clear."
".....Finally. I hate being out there. The willow's frozen. The moon should peek out soon."
"Alright. Let's get ready. We'll be here when you wake up, okay Moony?"
"Right. Thanks Sirius."
The werewolf and three animagi wait for the full moon to rise.
