Walking the streets of Icheon is always a fun experience. The city is always alive and bustling no matter what time of day it is.

Seoul and I have been out getting our hair cut, eating traditional foods  and shopping around the pop up shops.

When we went to the hair salon I didn't know what to tell them what I wanted. Its been five years since I have, had a hair cut. I needed a change of pace. Seoul confidently  stood up on my lap and whispered something into the young stylist ear. I ended up with powder blue hair, pretty braids and perfect  waves that stopped at the small of my back.

My son settled on a fade. It makes him look all grown up.

One of the pop up shops grabbed my attention. "American Fashion & Cosmetics." It had mannequins that were dressed to supposedly show the "fashion" style of the state/region.

The two mannequins for Colorado showed the two extremes harsh winters and suffocating heat of  summer. Neither are truly accurate.

No one dresses like there going on a ski trip every time it snows.  Then again not everyone dresses like a slut when its hot outside.

"Mommy lets go!" Seoul whined pulling me towards a bungeo-ppang cart. I don't want to stand here and look at these mannequins anymore but my feet wont move.

"its time to go home."  a voice whispered.

Maybe its a sign.

Maybe something is going on back in the states.

Maybe they do need my help.

But some mannequins aren't enough to convince me to drag my son half way across the world into god knows what.

"Can we get some bungeo-ppang please?" Seoul said looking up at me with his best puppy dog impression.

I smiled and nodded. Seoul rewards me with a toothy grin.

"Mom how many?" The gentlemen asked showing me the fish shaped pastry. Seoul cocked his head and looked at me. He is waiting for me to think of the number.

"Does your mom not speak Korean?" The gentlemen asked Seoul.

Twelve seems like a reasonable number. We can eat them for breakfast for the next couple of days.

"She wants twelve." My sweet boy says. I reach into my backpack and pull out ten thousand won. The vender bagged our treats and thanked us.

The sky is painted with the most beautiful shades of orange. Its time to go home before it gets dark.

Once everything that we bought is put away, I help Seoul with his bath and getting ready for bed.

Seoul drifted off to sleep with no issues.

I gently push the bedroom door closed. I go into the kitchen and start boiling some water. I need some coffee.

Should I risk it and go home?

Seoul has a brother who he hasn't met. Ash is an amazing guy. He would be an amazing role model for Seoul.

My parents now have a grand child but they didn't ever treat me like their child. Would they even acknowledge him?

Did they even notice that I was gone?

I know that Grant hasn't mated with anyone. My string hasn't withered away. He holds steadfast to traditional beliefs.  An alpha can't run his pack at maximum power with out his true mate. I'm human and am unfit to be a packs Luna.

"You are blessed."  The voice said

"You are the only person who can end this."  The voice encouraged.

If Daniel Verner catches wind that I'm back in the states....

"You both will be protected." The voice assured me.

I run my fingers through my hair and put my head between my knees. My heart feels like its going to beat out of my chest. I can hear the blood rushing through my ears.

I pull my phone out of my pocket.

Flights from Icheon international airport to the Denver international airport.

six hundred ninety thousand, five hundred won for a nineteen hour one way flight for an adult and one child.

My bank account has a little over a million won in it.

Coming back wouldn't be an option.

"Its time to go home." the voice said.

The flight is set to depart at eight in the morning. Its currently ten.

We can make it.

I book our flight and grab a duffle bag out of the closet.

I grab a few changes of clothes with some toiletries.  My phone charger, head phones and a journal that I've been keeping since I arrived here.  I pack my favorite coffee mug with the Korean coffee pods hidden inside. Lastly I put the dozen bungeo-ppang treats that we bought today.

Seoul's preschool backpack was filled with his favorite outfits. He had never really gotten attached to any toys or blankets.

I glance at the clock. Its four am.

I push open the bedroom door and Seoul sits up sleepily rubbing his eyes.

"Where are we going mommy?" He asks.

I grab him a clean outfit out of the closet and help him change.  He follows me to the door and puts on his back pack.

"Were not coming back here are we?" He asks.

I shake my head no, holding back the tears that want to fall.

I grab the passports off the counter.

Seoul grabs my hand and I can see the tears welling up in his eyes. I pick him up and he wraps his legs around my hips burying his head in my neck.

I pick up the duffle and toss it over my shoulder.

I take one final look at our home before closing the door.

Its time to go home.
