~~”Aa gayi hai vo ghadi jab doh dil ek ho jayenge...Aaj jo khoya tha vo paa lenge, saath jeevan bhar nibha lenge...Aaj vo pal aayega jab hum ek dusre ko apna bana lenge aur phir kabhi na bichrenge...Naa jaane humne kitni galtiyan ki hain jinme se sabse badi thi ek dusre ka saath chhodna par ab jab mile hain toh karta hun ek vaada tujhse ae sanam ke kabhi na chhodunga tera saath chahe koi bhi ho baat….”~~

Shehnaaz was sitting on the bed scrolling through her phone while Sidharth was busy replying to some official mails. Suddenly someone continuously starts ringing their room’s bell. Sidharth quickly opens the door out of panic. He sees the hotel manager on the door and says, “Is this the way to ring a guest’s doorbell Mr. Jain?” The manager replies, “So sorry sir but the situation downstairs is very critical. One of our staff members has fallen off the staircase and there’s an extreme loss of blood due to that...Vo ek heart patient hai sir. Stairs se girte samay head injury ke saath ek bohot zyaada deep cut near the heart region bhi tha. We took him to the nearest hospital but they don’t have any senior heart surgeon to supervise the surgery at the moment. He is critical sir aur Shehnaaz ma’am topmost heart surgeons mein se ek hain. We need her help….Time se aid nahi mila toh uske survival ke chances bohot kam reh jayenge…” Shehnaaz heard the conversation and was standing numb at her place. Sidharth noticed this and told the manager to arrange a cab for them as Shehnaaz would be performing the surgery.

He goes to Shehnaaz and says, “Look at me...You are very strong aur tu ek perfect surgeon hai...Main jaanta hun ke jo hua tha 3 saal pehle vo yahin hua tha and that to in the same hospital but toone vaada kiya tha ghat pe aaj hi ke past ko hum yahin chhod ke jayenge...Toone 99 successful surgeries ki hain aur ye teri 100th successful surgery hogi…” She looks at Sidharth and says, “Par yaad hai na tujhe kya hua tha 3 saal pehle jiski vajah se hum alag ho gaye thee...Meri ek unsuccessful surgery ne hamein tod diya tha...We broke apart at the same place, in the same hospital…” He gave her a look and said, “I remember each and everything...Par ab kahan gaye tere logics haan...Padhi likhi surgeon ho tum samjhi...Ek doctor ki life mein successful aur unsuccessful surgeries dono hoti hain but a doctor tries his/her level best to save every patient...Agar ab ek patient bohot hi critical condition ki vajah se survive na kar paye toh usme ek doctor ki bhala kya galti…Ye baat main ya family members nahi samajh paye thee 3 saal pehle toh tu usse wrong nahi ho jaati...Mere chote bhai ka major accident hua tha uski apni galti se...He was extremely drunk while he was driving. Jab tak vo hospital laaya gaya tab tak he was almost gone. You performed a 6 hour long surgery and tried your best to save him...Tum usse nahi recover kar payi toh usme fault was not yours...The turn of events brought the blame on you, that’s it...Ab aur samjhaun ya apne aap par trust karogi tum aur ye surgery perform karogi...I trust you ke tum past ko piche chhod dogi aaj hi…”
She nods her head and both of them leave for the hospital. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and entered the OT. She instructed the team and they began with the surgery. It took nearly 4 hours. She came out of the OT and the surgery was successful. The patient had to be kept under observation for 48 hours and the post surgery effects had to be dealt with.
After all the formalities, both of them went out of the hospital and she pulled Sidharth in a tight hug without even thinking about the surroundings. She whispered in his ears, “Thank you so much Sidharth….This was one of the best days in the past three years. Aaj maine khud par se jo trust kho diya tha na vo vapas aa gaya...Issi moment se maine apne past ko peeche chhod diya hai...Finally we can completely move on…” Sidharth broke the hug, cupped her face, kissed her forehead and said, “Yes, meri best doctor sahiba, we can completely move on...Acha chalo ab jaldi se hotel, kaafi raat ho gayi hai aur kal subah jaldi bhi uthna hai…” Shehnaaz raised her eyebrows in confusion and said, “Jaldi kyun...Nikalna toh raat ko hai na parson subah pohonchne ke liye…” Sidharth pulled her towards him by holding her waist from side and said while walking towards the cab, “Kitne questions puchti ho tum...Surprise hai tumhare liye…”
~~NEXT MORNING~~
Shehnaaz started moving her hand on Sidharth’s side of the bed but didn’t find him there and woke up making a grumpy face. As soon as she got up, her eyes fell on the simple yet elegant baby pink coloured salwar suit kept near her with a sticky note which read, “Good Morning baby...Uthte hi ye sada sa face mat banao...I want you to get ready in this quickly...Main tumhara wait kar raha hun neeche….” She was constantly smiling seeing the note when a message pops on her phone which read, “Smile hi karti rahogi ya ready bhi hona hai surprise ke liye...Abhi itna smile karogi toh surprise ke time pe kya hoga…” She replied, “Kaam hi aisa kiya hai tumne smile karne vala...Okay baba ja rahi hun ready hone…”
She gets ready with minimum makeup and goes downstairs locking the room. As soon as her eyes fell on Sidharth standing near the cab’s door she noticed him from head to toe and thought, “Kuch kam handsome nahi hai yeh bhi awwww…” Sidharth’s eyes were stuck on her and he thought, “Aaj toh sab isse hi dekhne vale hain...Sambhal ke Sidharth...You have to be careful...Kitni sundar lag rahi hai aaj yeh..”

Sidharth goes near her, forwards his hand and makes her sit in the cab. It was a silent journey with both of them stealing glances and smiling cutely (antique hain na dono…)...
They reached their destination. Sidharth held her hand and took her near the big Shiva’s idol in Rishikesh. There was a small mandap in between and pandit ji was already waiting for them. Shehnaaz looked at Sidharth with moist eyes, he held her hand as an assurance and blinked his eyes. He took her near the mandap and said, “Aaj hum dobara iss pure hawan ki agni ke aas paas saat phere lenge lekin promises hamare honge. Dekho Shehnaaz pichli baar vale promises toh hum nibha nahi paye aur mere hisaab se promises vo karne chahiye jo aap zindagi bhar nibha sako. Main chahta hun ke iss baar jo hum saath aayen toh phir kabhi na alag hon...So, will you marry me again Dr. Shehnaaz Kaur Gill?” She nodded her head and said, “Yes, Mr. Sidharth Shukla…”

With this yes, they took the first round around the mandap hand in hand while the pandit ji was chanting the mantras. At the end of the first round they stopped for making the first promise. Sidharth held her hand and said, “Aaj ke baad kabhi bhi koi bhi reason hi kyun na ho par main tujhe trust karna nahi chhodunga aur hamesha teri backbone bankar tera saath dunga.” Shehnaaz said, “Rishte nibhane ke liye kabhi kabhi thoda sa adjust karna padta hai varna ye rishton ki gaadi na ruk jaati hai. Toh agar kabhi mujhe apni baat se hatke jhukna pada toh koi baat nahi par ego ki vajah se trust kam nahi hoga kabhi bhi.”
Similarly they took all seven rounds with Pandit Ji saying the mantras. The promises I am mentioning were made to each other at the end of every round.
Sid: Chahe hum kabhi kisi baat pe agree na bhi karein ek dusre se par that won’t affect our relationship. Har cheez ka baithke araam se baat karke solution nikala ja sakta hai.
Sana: Difference of opinion se bada hamesha hamara relationship hi hoga. Gussa kam aur patience zyaada lekin cheezen hamesha sort hongi. Main agar gussa karun toh tu samjhayega aur agar tu gussa karega toh main samjhaungi par hamesha koi ek baat sambhal liya karega.

Sid: Ham dono ek dusre ke profession aur usse related issues ko samjhenge aur ek dusre ko pura support karenge.
Sana: Hamara kaam kabhi bhi hamari personal life ke beech nahi aayega. Chahe kuch bhi ho din mein dinner ya breakfast mein se koi ek meal toh sath mein baithke lenge hi. Ye aisa rishta hoga jahan ek dusre ko at the end of the day dekh ke sari tension aur thakkan dur ho jaye. Humara kaam kabhi misunderstanding ka reason nahi banega. Hum hamare kaam aur usse related ethics ko samajh ke transparent rahenge jitna ho skega.

Sid: Hum dono ek relationship ke saath aane vali  responsibilities ko samjhenge aur milke unhe balance karenge.
Sana: Ek relationship mein jab 2 log aate hain toh saath mein 2 families bhi judti hain. Toh 2 logon ka contribution is always 50-50. Kuch single handedly nahi hota. Ek insaan ko saamne vale ko samajhna padta hai bohot baar. Partners are like each other's pillar of strength at all times. Dono ek dusre ko girne nahi dete, sambhal lete hain. Main hamesha ye baat samjhungi.

Sid: Main kabhi bhi dekhi-suni baaton pe believe karke iss relation ko spoil nahi karunga. Rather I would always discuss things with you first and keep it all clear.
Sana: Hamare beech mein kisi teesre ki kabhi koi jagah nahi hogi. It would always be us. Main badi badi baaton mein believe nahi karti. Misunderstandings har rishte mein hoti hi hain. Jahan na ho vahan something's very fishy. Par jab ye misunderstandings hongi na they won’t go public. Unhe ham dono aaram se milke sort karenge and trust, truth, transparency aur honesty ka toh yahan bhi role hai hi…

Sid: Kids abhi hai toh bohot aage ki baat but main abhi hi promise kar rha hun because mere point of view se bache sirf ek wife ki zimmedari nahi hote. Upbringing depends on both the parents and so will it be on both of us here.
Sana: Hamare future kids would be very lucky ke dono side se equal time milega unhe kyunki I have the same promise to make here. It’s not only father or only mother, it’s both the parents.

Sid: Main kabhi bhi agar tujhe akela chhodne ki himmat bhi karun na iss baar toh please meri gusse mein kahi kissi baat ko sunke jaana mat ulta mujhe vaapas theek kardena by giving it back to me…
Sana: Same tu bhi karna bass iss baar saath aur haath dono hi nahi chutne chahiye varna hum bikhar jayenge…

With this the sindoor and mangalsutra rasam is also done. They both take  Shiv Ji and pandit ji’s blessings and give each other a tight hug. It was indeed a very unique wedding where the promises were made on the basis of the mistakes they made in the past. This wedding was an assurance to never ever leave each other’s hand and grow old together. This short trip to Rishikesh brought two lost souls together. They headed back to Delhi with hopes of a brighter future together.

PROMO: Shehbaaz: Kyaaa….Nahi moto bohot gussa karegi agar usko pata chala toh…
Sidharth: Chup bey gadhe...Dheere bol uth jayegi vo...Aur kya bola gussa karegi...Bada aaya behen ka chamcha...Chup-chaap help kar meri samjha...
