CHAPTER-9

Jab Ishq ho jaye toh ye sawaal koi mayine nahi rakhte...Ye ishq jab dastak deta hai tab sab kuch alag sa, naya sa lagta hai...Ishq uss duniya ka naam hai jahan na kisi teesre ki jagah hoti hai na zamane ka khauf….Iss duniya mein jo kadam badha diya toh jeene ki ek nayi si vajah mil jaati hai...Ye duniya apna sab kuch khokar kuch paane ko nahi kehti balki ye duniya apna sab kuch paakar kisi aur ko pura karne ki seekh deti hai...Ye duniya vo hai jo humein sahi mayino mein pura karti hai...Hum apne andar chupe uss insan se mil lete hain jo humare andar tha toh par hum usse vakif nahi thee… Ye ishq aag ka vo dariya jise sirf vo paar kar sakta hai jo sacha ho...Ishq kar ke dekho zindagi ko samajh jaoge…”~~

Shehnaaz entered the room and found herself surrounded with darkness...But, this darkness had a different accepting, positive and loving vibes that attracted her. She looked around and said, “Sidharth, Sidharth...Where are you?? Itna andhera kyun hai yahan…” Suddenly she was wrapped in a strong pair of arms from behind and she instantly recognised that it was Sidharth...He whispered in her ear, “Welcome home Dr. Shehnaaz Shukla…” Shehnaaz smiled and said, “Par ye itna andhera kyun hai Sidharth..” He replied, “Patience wifey patience…” Saying this he turned her towards the bed, took a small remote from his pocket, pressed a button, lights were on and Shehnaaz was amazed to see the beautiful scenario.

Shehnaaz just hugged Sidharth tightly and said, “Tumhe kaise pata ke mujhe bed ke paas aisi hi fairy lights pasand hain. Aur ye toh pure room ka decor hi changed hai...These peaceful colours...Ye toh tumhe pasand nahi hai na...I mean pehle yahan kitne dark shades thee...Tumne ye sab karwaya kab…” Sidharth broke the hug, held her from her shoulders and said, “Ek baar mein kitne questions karogi...Ye sab maine ussi din mom ko kehke change karwaya jab humne Rishikesh mein sab sort out kara tha...The day I planned our wedding I told the families about it...Aaj maine bass ye fairy lights lagayi khud se...Ab no more questions…Quickly go and freshen up...Maine tumhara outfit washroom mein rakha hai...There’s another surprise for you…” She was about to say something but he kept a finger on her lips and said, “Kaha na kuch mat puchna...Jao jaldi like a good girl..” She went to change...Meanwhile Sidharth had a last look on the arrangements in the balcony and stood there with his arms resting on either side of the railing. Shehnaaz came out, saw him there and as she entered the balcony she was yet again in awe of what he had done for her. She was not able to form words to explain her feelings so she just hugged him from behind. He turned towards her, looked at her from head to toe and said, “You look stunning sweetheart...Kaisa laga sab…” She looked in his eyes and said, “Thank you so much for everything Sidharth. Ab ye mat kehna ke thank you kyun bola because this time you really deserve it. Past mein jo hua usme hum dono ki barabar galti thi. Agar main ruk jati toh baat sambhal sakti thi. I could have understood your condition at that moment but I didn’t and moved away right. Main samajhti hun ke main uss samay shattered thi ke you didn’t trust me par main vapas bhi toh aa sakti thi na...Uss samay tumhe sabse zyaada mere support ki zaroorat thi aur main hi nahi thi tumhare paas…. I know tum kahoge ke main bhi lene aa sakta tha, over react karne ke liye sorry bol sakta tha par jaante ho tab na hum dono mein se dono sahi thi aur dono hi galat..Toh ab please kabhi bhi akele apne aap ko guilty mat samajhna...Let’s move on properly once and for all Sidharth. I love you…” He kissed her forehead and said, “I love you too Shehnaaz aur abhi jo toone kaha hai na iske baad I respect you even more than I did earlier.” With this he held her hand and took her towards the special bedding he had done in the past one hour he spent in the room.

They both settled down comfortably hugging each other and sipped the wine. Sidharth's gaze was fixed at the stars and the moon. He looked towards the sky and said, “Jaanti hai main hamesha sochta hun ke aasman mein agar chaand ya taaron mein se koi ek cheez bhi na ho toh ye aasman kitna adhoora sa lagta hai...Jab dono nahi hote toh khaali ho jata hai...Bilkul andhera hota hai uss din...Chaand na ho toh taare kam chamakte hain aur taare na hon toh chaand ka noor kam ho jata hai… Dono hi cheezen ek dusre ko complete karti hain...Hazaar taare bhi chaand ki kami nahi puri kar sakte aur chaand un hazaar taaron ko replace nahi kar sakta...Vaise hi hum dono alag alag adhoore hain...Saath hain toh strong hain...Ek kamzor padega toh dusra sambhal lega par chamak barkaraar rahegi…” Shehnaaz held his hand and said, “Aas paas bhale hi kitni raunak kyun na ho par meri aankhen hamesha tumhe dhundhti hain...Haan ye sach hai ke Shehnaaz Sidharth ke bina adhuri hai aur Sidharth Shehnaaz ke bina… We complete each other and make SidNaaz which is an unbreakable and forever bond… Pyaar apne aap mein hi ek attachment hai, emotional attachment… Humein yahi emotional attachment ne itne saal saath na hoke bhi jode rakha...Na main move on kar payi na tum...Kaam mein duba liya tha maine khud ko...Success bhi mili kaam mein...Par jo nahi mila vo tha sukoon...Tum mera sukoon ho, mera vo ghar jahan ultimately I have to come back at the end of the day… Attachment toh cheezon se bhi ho jaati hai par emotionally attached hum sirf insaan se hote hain...Aur tumse toh phir main bohot deeply attached hun…” Shehnaaz was about to continue when the househelp knocked the door and said, “Bhaiya, bhabhi aapko maa ne bahar dinner ke liye bulaya hai…” Sidharth made a baby face while Shehnaaz replied, “Aa rahe hain doh minute mein…” She then pecked his big baby’s cute pout and pulled him out with her for dinner.
Mom told Shehnaaz to get ready by 7 tomorrow as she had planned a small surprise rasam for her. Hearing this Sidharth quickly messaged Shehbaaz to reach his building compound by 6 and he would be there making an excuse of jogging. Shehbaaz replied to the message instantly and it read, “Jiju mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai ke aapke surprise ke chakkar mein moto meri band bajayegi…” Sidharth replied by sending a sweet dhamki saying, “Oye mote...Chup chaap kal time pe neeche building compound mein mil bina nakhre kiye aur agar toone Shehnaaz ke saamne ek bhi pol kholi galti se bhi toh phir tu meri team se out aur mera teri side lena band…” Shehbaaz replied, “Kahan phas gaya main bhi aap dono ke beech...Chalo theek hai phir subah milte hain…” Sidharth replied, “Better…”
Next morning Shehnaaz woke up first by the alarm and smiled seeing Sidharth sleeping with a peaceful smile on his face with her being in his arms...She caressed his hair lovingly and kissed his forehead...He smiled more in sleep, opened his eyes and said in a husky voice, “Subah subah apne sote hue innocent se pati pe itna pyaar...Kya baat hai aaj kya suraj ulti side se nikla hai…” Shehnaaz widened her eyes and said, “Agar pyaar se itni hi problem hai mere iss not so innocent pati ko toh kya main kal se aapko ek jug thanda pani phenk kar jagaun…” Sidharth made a cute face and said, “Ye har baar sherni mode mein aana zaroori hai kya...Kabhi nakhre bhi jhel liya karo...Matlab yahan tumhara husband har time duty pe hazir rahe tumhari aur tum meri zara si nautanki nahi seh sakti…Waah re meri destiny…” Shehnaaz tapped his shoulder and said, “Tumhari destiny tumhe isse better biwi nahi de sakti thi toh ab agar tumhari early morning nautanki ho gayi ho toh chhodo mujhe as I have to get ready for a special rasam today….” Instead of leaving her, he pulled her closer to him by her waist and said, “Arrey aise kaise jaane dun tumhe wifey...Meri good morning kiss kahan hai…” She looked into his eyes with all her intensity to tease him...She pinched his arm and ran towards the cupboard, took out the saree that mom gave her and went to the washroom. She sneaked out slightly from the door and said, “Agli baar agar good morning kiss chahiye ho toh zara pyaar bhari nautanki karna jo cute lage aise bachon vali harkatein nahi…” She gave him a flying kiss which he caught with a hand gesture and said to himself, “Wait and watch wifey...Aaj raat aisa surprise dunga ke kal se roz good morning kiss pakki…”
Sidharth went to Shehbaaz downstairs as planned while Shehnaaz got ready for the Rasam.
