Chapter 22: Power Struggle

When everyone got over their shock of Trunk being Vegeta's and Bulma's son they all started to devise a plan to defeat Zarbon as they need to defeat him as soon as possible

Ray: Hey Trunk in the future we defeated Frieza's generals right?

Trunk: Yes from what my mother said she said that you guys did Frieza was the only one who couldn't be defeated

Ray: I see...good well then it's a good thing I asked Kami to do this

Ray lead everyone to a room in the ship as they realized that it was the same thing as the room of Spirit and Time

Ray: Thankfully because of my and Rias magic we can fit any number of people inside so me and the Saiyans will be going in first understand?

Everyone nodded as all the Saiyans went in as the door closed behind them

Bulma: This is all so dangerous

Kuroka: We knew what we signed up for

She then turned toward Piccolo

Kuroka: So Namekian right? What's it like on Namek?

Piccolo: Honestly I don't know I didn't know I was a Namekian until Ray's older brother told me

Towa: I wonder hmmm hey Piccolo you can regenerate correct?

Piccolo looked at her and nodded as Towa and 21 nodded as they asked him to help them with a experiment that will also make him stronger as he agreed and the three left as that left everyone else as Krillin went to train with the two Emperors

Rias was a little distant from everyone but that was expected as she almost lost her husband again as Kuroka and Akeno went to train together as Koneko trained with Asia, and Gasper as Kiba trained with Xenovia and Irina as everyone knew they had to get stronger

After three days the Saiyans came out of their room of Spirit and Time as they were stronger by a larger amount as they were all smirking as their clothes was ripped and tore except Gine and Bra as their clothes looked almost new as they realized that they probably used that clothes beam Ray mentioned long ago as Ray then used said beam to fix everyone's clothes as Ray went to check on Rias and freshen up as did the other Saiyans as they felt prepared for the battle coming up

Ray: Now we're ready

Towa: As are we

21: Ray we have something for you

Ray: What is it?

21 then handed him a vial with some strange red liquid in it as Ray examined it

21: It's an elixir of regeneration once you inject yourself with it you'll have the power to regenerate

Ray: Will it now?

Towa: Yes and there is no stamina drain what so ever and it's basically like Cell's regeneration so long as a single cell remain you can always regenerate back

Ray: Interesting....Rias inject yourself with it

Everyone: What!?

Rias nodded and took the vial and injected herself with it as she gasped a bit but was fine

Towa: Why didn't you take it!? If you had taken it you could have been exploiting the Zenkai Boost Saiyans gain when they survive a near death experience!

Ray: I know and do not worry I have a plan and it is already half way completed now we just need to win this war now onwards to battle!

Everyone was shocked but nodded as the ship began to fly back toward Zarbon's planet as Ray smirked evilly

Ray: This time is different Zarbon this time it will you who falls

When the ship arrived Ray and the Saiyans along with everyone except Bulma were outside the ship prepared for battle as the Frieza Force and Khaos Brigade were waiting for them as well

Ray: Alright this time we won't lose

Ray smirked as he glared at Zarbon who smirked

Zarbon: Back for more? Hahaha foolish monkey hahaha kill them all!

At that his forces charged forward as Ray and the others charged as well as to everyone's surprise Ray sped pass everyone before anyone could react as he collided with Zarbon as the two went straight towards the planet's ground as it caused a massive explosion  as the two appeared in the air as Zarbon was slightly hurt

Zarbon: How the hell!? How are you so much stronger!?

Ray: Hahaha is that fear I hear in your voice? It's terrifying isn't it? To know you're about to die...do not worry your death will be quick! In the end don't fear death!

Suddenly Ray appeared in front of Zarbon shocking and scaring him

Ray: Fear me!

Ray grabbed Zarbon by his throat and slammed him into the ground as Zarbon transformed as he broke free as Ray jumped away as Zarbon gained that same dark purple aura as his power skyrocketed

Zarbon: I will not fear a damn monkey!

Ray: Hahaha you will fear the ONE TRUE GOD!

Ray began to power up as Zarbon's scouter blew up as he was shocked as Ray powered up into a Super Saiyan as Ray smirked

Ray: Unlike the original Goku I wasn't raised in a happy environment, I was hurt, abused, tortured neglected, and even experimented on once and because of that my power has always been...unstable growing at a very alarming rate at times I couldn't even control it and then I met the man I would later call my grandfather Son Gohan when he found me I despised the world hated it with every fiber of my being I wished nothing more than to destroy it to tear apart piece by piece but in time he changed my view on the world however I was still hell bent on revenge...

Ray glared at Zarbon who backed away in fear as flashbacks flashed through Ray's mind as his power rose even more

Ray: And when I had the opportunity...I threw it away because someone who always loved me saved me before my heart was consumed she saved me and taught me how to love over time I truly loved her back and then when my evil nearly consumed the world she was my light that drew the darkness away she and my children are my reason for living, for fighting, and with that reason  I will do whatever it takes to win!

Back on earth Kami was seen standing before Shenron

Shenron: Your wish is granted farewell

With that Shenron disappeared as Kami held his staff unsure if this was the right course of action

Back on the planet of Yardrat Ray gained a brilliant golden aura as his aura flared to life

Ray: I am Ray Gremory the Legendary Super Saiyan! The One True God of this universe! Now bow!

Ray charged a massive ki blast over his head as he smirked as it resembled a sun as Zarbon gasped

Ray: Disappear! Sphere of Destruction!

The massive sphere of Ki and Destruction magic hurled towards Zarbon who tried to escape but Ray used his magic to hold Zarbon in place as Ray placed his hand on the ground as he and the planet disappeared as Zarbon screamed as the sphere consumed him and some of his army as the blast exploded as then the planet reappeared as Ray powered down as he coughed out blood as using Instant Transmission to teleport a planet costed too much energy as Ray fell unconscious as the other easily handled the remaining forces as some strange beings walked over to Ray as they carried him away to treat him
